- I fought Undyne the Undying with the Real Knife and The Locket!

Come to think of it, Undyne the Undying is the strongest monster in the game, if you disregard Flowey, which absorbs souls. She managed to survive more than one hit of 5600 damage, which would be fatal for any other monster.

Chances are low, but files have never been mentioned to actually be canon. Because sans sleeps so much, and as we know, sleep allows you to go above max hp, he may be able to tank a hit
Also I’m not “obsessed with sans” it’s pretty much just logic considering all of the time he sleeps

not only that, but shes able to hold herself together, completely stable, while using the full power of it, which monsters arent supposed to be able to do
People forget that undying undyne is a terrifying foe when you think about it. Had she been the one to absorb the 6 souls then I doubt we could ever beat her realistically
any monster that absorbs the human souls cant be beaten not even a froggit

@@loquendog27 Frisk would give up far before we would, the only reason why Frisk was able to do everything in the story is because we were there to take control of them. Even if Frisk wanted to give up and die, we would not allow it.
As Chara had said, “Since when were you the one in control?” *frisk had been under our control from the very start, frisk never had a choice to begin with*
And it is a perfect loop, cool.
Undyne the Undying but Frisk never tries a little harder than that:

If you think about it..
- Undyne is one of the strongest monsters canonically, asgore the strongest.
(remember monsters can be one shotted when they lower their guard)
- a KID, not a Teen, a CHILD. Can slaughter an ENTIRE species with a KNIFE.

sans is stronger, bones, blue bones, gaster blasters, battle box manipulation, telekenesis, blue soul, stopping time, teleporting
@@kris_something well, you are right, my statement gets nullified once you use ingame fighting style, they're harder if not unbeatable there
But if we look at a realistic way, it does apply, plus humans did win the war leading to undertale in the first place
Also is sans really able to stop time or did I skip an episode? Yeah he does use telekinesis by making you a blue soul, bones and adding effects (orange, blue), gaster blasters and teleporting, he does also manipulate the battle box, but time stopping..?

@@kris_something i don't think he can stop time. I think that was just an effect that Toby used to show that sans was specifically talking to Frisk in that moment. Either that, or dramatic tension.

Imagine an adult doing this. If a child can decimate all of the cave's inhabitants. Imagine a determined adult warrior with proper equipment.

Having an adult warrior in of itself is overkill when you take into account how monsters work
If you strike them with the intent to kill they'll take way more damage than just hitting them normally(which is why Toriel gets one-shot in the genocide route as opposed to a high level neutral route)
No monster is bloodlusted in Undertale. Like, they're fighting a child. Who knows, maybe they would actually use their ATK described in their Check description if the child was replaced with an adult warrior.

True, but even then an adult would probably be way out of their league. But maybe I'm wrong, maybe the power is found within the determination of a child.
It really depends on the soul also i personly belive that the humans in undertale are able to cast magic since they made the barrier and they look like wizards at the begining so we would have to factor that in but haveing the soul determantion is like rarer then most things when bieng born we can assume frisk/chara are very powerful and lucky

@@averagealastorfanboy Besides empty gun does also more damage than both if you hit all 4 perfectly. You can even kill snowdrakes mother with 8 legendary heroes and on level 2.
Finally, a way to 4-hit-K.O. the most HP in the game.

I have fond memories of Undyne the Undying with the real knife.
Once, I had a friend that couldn't beat Undyne the Undying. It wasn't his first genocide run (in his first, he asked a friend to beat her for him), however, he was uploading a full playthrough of Undertale. So he wanted her done quick. Since he couldn't do it (with many failed attempts shown in his videos), I taught him how to hack items in his inventory and equipment. Then he beat her and uploaded the video.
One of the most hilarious Undertale moments I have ever seen. This video reminds me of it.

@@Liamshorts226 undyne is the only boss in the game that doesn't die in one hit. even sans does, he just dodges everything up until the last one. i think getting the true knife too late for it to be useful is another meta gaming joke by toby
