    I wish I was there that time and I was living there I don't like technology life style best when there was no phone and internet lol

    I wish that the homeless were allowed to build shanties now to live in 😥.
    You'd be complained about, shack pulled down & moved on to the streets.

      No they have been demolished by order of the state in the late 60s

      @@Digga_10 these guys lived there for 40 odd years, with the agreement of Council, and payed Council rates.

      Another place to look at is Crater Cove on the Spit to Manly walk. The buildings are still there. Built during the Depression. There are others too, but if told you…….
