Unless you baby your new KTM this is the end result after 2-3 years. They all have high strung engines that love to rev high but are not strong enough to last like Japanese ones. Just compare this to a used MT-15, MT-03 or a Gixxer. You will see the difference.
One thing that's been itching in my head. Get the legal number plates bro (fir meri tarah tumhaara bhi chalaan ayega, hehe) My Gen 2 RC 390 is also 2 years old last month (18k KM's) And yes It's expensive
Bhai 390 engines are expensive af , i have spent 90,000 in 4 years of ownership , got my block head valves piston crank shaft , headlights indicators suspension leaks repair , shim adjustments every 3000 kms 😔 i just get sad i got this bike for 1.80 4 years ago and i have spent half the amount already 😔
Expensive lol. You say it is the cheapest among it’s segment bikes. Even cbr 250r engine parts are costly more than 390’s parts. Forgot about Ninja’s and r3’s
shim adjustments every 3000 kms? nit required. Do it every 15k. i haven't done shim adjustments on my 2015 RC390. Odd is 32k. Dont see any issue so far.
I was gone for a used three90 but the condition of that bike is reallly you can say ruined, not only one owner I went for different owners 3 or four bikes I checked mostly they have serious issues. Rather choose Dominar 400 well kept respective owmer found and its mine. I LOVE right now the bike perfomes as I want and realy the parts are costs same. The shifter toad price is 750 bro not 400.
It wasn't.. but his ego won't accept it. Let me tell you, it is worth buying a pre owned KTM, but you have to look very closely for issues. In his case he bought a lemon. He just doesn't want to accept it.
