I live in Chembur and I always ride slow when I ride in the Marine drive fort and general Mumbai area. Too afraid of the cops. I do have a ADV 390 with fuel X and a slip on. I have noticed the top end is slightly better in the stock setting. Low to mid range is where the Fuel X makes a world of difference. I feel it will extend the life of the engine a little bit. The engines are tuned to run lean to meet emissions from factory.
@@Zox-e5k I meant with/without slip-on, if I set the fuel X to the stock setting (3 - No mixture change) I "feel" top end performance is more aggressive but if I richen the mixture (4/5/6 setting) the aggressiveness in the top end is slightly dulled down. The engine also heats up less, runs more smoother and great low to mid range power. I still hit 150+ easily with rich settings. Its just the way it accelerates in the top end I feel is better with stock fueling. It makes sense to me since to get the best performance you need to run the engine slightly lean which is what race cars and bikes do but then they rebuild engine every race so engine longevity is not a concern for them. I believe slipon does not make much of a difference.
