Exploring Cades Cove on a cold, chilly, and quiet morning.

  • Since it’s January of 2022, there aren’t many tourists currently out and about in Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I took full advantage of basically having the park to ourselves to explore the graveyards, churches, and old houses that are still standing around Cades Cove. This is one of my most favorite places in the world, so it was nice to explore a little bit of Heaven on Earth.

Great video. We love Cade's Cove. It would have been pretty awesome to come up and have been Blessed enough to live there in their ways. Thanks for sharing!!

I would have loved to see it as it was with all of the houses and buildings there. I’m sure it was something to see. Thanks for watching!

I absolutely love Cades Cove! If I could I would go there everyday. The churches are so special. I wish I could walk among the graves so I could read the tombstones. The last time I visited the Methodist Church there was a female tourist playing sweet old hymns on the much out of tune piano, but it was beautiful as the sound resonated through the church and outside. I could just imagine the singing and services held back in the day. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable tour.

Thank you for watching. I love Cades Cove as well, and I have to go there every time I visit Tennessee. When I took this video back in January there wasn’t a lot of people around, so I was able to go more in depth than I usually do there. I have never had the pleasure of seeing or hearing anyone perform in the churches, but I know it has to be a special moment to experience.

Nice video. Thank you! Been there many times and it was nice to visit again. Good camera work. You walked a lot. You showed a few spots we had not visited. Hope you and your Mom enjoyed the beautiful day that you spent at Cades Cove!

Thank you for watching. It was a nice cold day when we visited, so I was able to get out and walk around more than I usually do. I’m ready to head in that direction again once the leaves begin to change because there isn’t anywhere that compares to Cades Cove in the fall.

@@sharonsmith2480 It’ll be late October before I’m there, but I plan to make quite a few videos when I’m in the area.

Isn't cold and chilly basically the same thing

It is basically the same thing, but I liked how it sounded in the title. When I made the video I figured that nobody would watch it, so it really didn’t matter what I called it.

Thanks for the Cades Cove tour, I love it there!! The coins on the grave, may represent military folks. 🪖 Different coins represent veterans, active duty, etc.,.

I love Cades Cove as well. I had read about the coins a few years ago when I visited somewhere and the coins were on the grave. I find that some of the ones I come across are for babies or people that have been dead for over two centuries. I find coins on the grave of Francis Marion here in SC every time I visit.
