from singing stream, birthday 3d live, solo live, tour live around Japan, and finally budokan live she finally become a big star in Japan I am anticipating in a few years she will do a solo world tour at least let me dream about it
Being able to watch this live at super saitama arena was a dream come true the atmosphere was unforgettable especially when she announced the budokan live
Got a streaming ticket as I had the feeling Hoshimatic project would be in the paid part (Suisei did a big solid as it'll be years before many can get their own sololive)
She said that she felt unwell and couldn’t sing well that day before the live. But she’s the fricking Hoshimachi Suisei. She will do her best for her supporters no matter what. She’s not the diamond in the rough anymore, She’s a Super Star! Edit: Btw, maybe it’s a hot take. But I like the live version of Awake a lot more. The heavily clipping in MV version ruins her voice for me. But still, it’s a great MV with very high effort and production quality.
As for the commenter asking if this cost more to make: the short answer is "it depends". A lot of the shots can be taken by a single cameraman with a small rig or a drone, even the ones involving the car. If you are expedient, you could probably get all of the shots done in one night. The overhead shots of the city could be CG, drone shots OR (much more likely) stock shots run through a simulator to simulate the passing of time/lights. So most of the "real world" stuff could be done on a shoestring budget. Then there's the animations for Suisei (whether drawn holistically or rotoscoped), placing those animations into the scene and adding the visual flair the song has in the form of the paint flying everywhere. I can't even begin to put a price tag on this type of animation style, so it's truly up in the air.... It's kinda funny that the MV is so perfect you notice the few places where it's not. The girls and animated Suisei in the Karaoke room never feel like they are in the same room. They aren't reacting to HER they are reacting to the music.
