I love Suisei. That said, this song is overproduced af (i especially hate this "crunchy voice effect" that you liked and sometimes the whole track has this crunch -- and that's just compression, I think. So rather that a cool effect, it feels like an attempt to smooth the dynamics. i also hate the autotune, it messes up Suisei's voice so much it doesn't matter who sings at that point). In short, the whole track sounds like a mess... Idk. I like the music video though.
I actually like the effects and auto tune tho, or maybe I'm just used to it. Overproduced means sensory overload lol which I love as a person with ADHD.
@@BHH123 I think the production part is based on taste and all, but autotune bothers me a lot (and I mean how it was used here, when you go for this vocaloid effect, it bothered me a little bit in Blackhole Dancehall too, but there it was much smoother and much shorter). So here autotune feels like an insult. It really changes her sounds so much it doesn't matter who sings anymore - it could be me or you and it would sound the same. I just... idk, I feel like this project was pushed on these three and they just did what they could without even speaking with each other. It feels overproduced, but at the same time disjointed and undercooked. So, basically a filler track on an album that you listen to and go "alright, what's next"
@andremorr Me personally I like how overproduced it is BECAUSE its giga and teddyloid since thats kinda what they're known for. As for the autotune, it only bugs me when the context of the arrangement doesn't make sense (like of this song was country or metal). When it comes to edm there's cool ways to use it and personally I think they succeeded~
@@daviikang5110 The production part - again, maybe it is a matter of taste, some people like it, but to me it just sounds... not bad, but average (as in "average radio music"). As for the autotune - well, I am not a big fan of EDM, so I believe you, but if this is a big part of this style, it just moves the whole project into the "Giga&TeddyLoid" category and further away from "Suisei" category if you know what I mean... I'll explain, just to be clear: it becomes "Giga&TeddyLoid feat Suisei" type of project and not Suisei's song produced by Giga&TeddyLoid. So it loses points either way, but I won't complain if this song would somehow become a huge hit, it's just to me it feels like "whatever, next one, please, but this time make it Suisei's song".
@andremorr This might be weird to say as a Suisei fan, but I actually like the fact that not all of her songs are just her at the front. I'm a big picture kinda guy so I like every aspect of the production to shine so I personally don't mind if she's kinda in the back for some songs. Thats kinda what its like for MGO. A lot of that is InuTaku going ham lol
nice video
you should check out suisei and KAF song its great and are a good duo
