US Army MRE "Chicken Noodle Soup" 20 YEARS LATER! 🇺🇸 Military Meal Ready to Eat Taste Test Review

- I've never come across MRE Chicken with Noodles and Vegetables that looks like this! This classic Meal Ready to Eat menu is usually decently tasty, but sitting around for more than 20 years has turned it to 'snot.' US Military rations are well known for their outstanding shelf life, but this vintage example was showing its age. This field ration contained a weird main course and gross, stinky cheese, but it still had redeeming qualities such as the awesome aged fig bars. I can see why this meal kit has been an Army staple for so long.
Thanks for watching!

It is NOT SOUP! Chicken with noodles is a casserole-like dish.
Geez!
Wow. This was the very first MRE I ate in the Army back in Cadet Basic Training in 1998. I remember being so stoked to find a package of plain M&M’s.
The oldest cheese spread I've had was 14 years old and it was still good. I would not be as brave to eat the one you just had. Props to you
Agree, I can't believe you ate that cheese.
That cheese.... "disgusting flavor, vomit inducing, gel consistency".... Lets take another bite! 😝😆
Guess Steve has a rival now
Yeah that red pack of taster's choice coffee is well known for dry mold unfortunately 😔😔😔😔
I’m sure Steve is proud of you digging into that nasty cheese spread! 🤣
Been watching your videos since you had less that 1k subs.
Nice to see how your channel is growing.
Well done Sir ~
I've always liked this menu. In the past you got a brownie AND a pack of plain M&M's!
Your reviews are superb. But you crack me up, as you say how disgusting the cheese is, you goin' 😊for a second taste
You could've just nibbled the cheese spread with a dip of your finger into it and if it was bland, you had salt there to sprinkle on.
Why does it look like that.. is the way it's said. Won't watch another video of yours. Sorry.
Sometimes that came with a nutty bar. I'd put the nutty bar and the cheese in with the soup and tasted good.
lol the US needs to get the info off of skittles wrapper they last more than any MRE package
The whole adding salt to the FRH thing is just a dumb myth.
Dude if memory serves me correctly they are only supposed to last 5 years max if stored at an appropriate temperature
Thumbs up for the HK hat.
04:31 - That’s racist.
I can't believe you ate that cheese my guy 😂😭😭
That cheese looked like play dough
Is there any chance of seeing your rifle collection .you have more guts then me I wouldn't be eating that lol
Check out the TH-cam Channel 'Readiness Reviews' it's my other channel all about Military Surplus Guns.
lol red tasters choice again 😅
Clears throat. Nice hiss
Question.. Looking at the date, how do you know it is from 2003 and not 2013 ?
The packaging/bag design has changed
"Petri Dish" LOL
Awesome review RR
Down the hatch 💪 greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
The Skittles looked good. I think I would have to take a pass on the rest.
I was always told not to use the heaters indoors. Apparently the fumes are toxic
It's just turning iron into rust very fast I don't see what it could gas off that would be toxic.
It cannot be anymore dangerous than the food he ate. I’d rather bask in the FRH steam, seems safer.
And it'll be 6 months before he launches another video...
