Congratulations Hattie! I am so here for 2nd hand baby hauls! After 4 babies I can confirm you can really get anything, in good quality for a great deal. Investing in quality really pays off when you're planning on having several children.
Every time you say "Hattie homemaking" I hear "happy homemaking" and I think "aww happy homemaking to you too" 😃 Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm so here for this content 😃
Lovely video Hattie! Such a good haul. Brings back those lovely memories for me. I saw on your Instagram what you are having. So lovely 💗 I had some clothes from my sister and also had her cot for as long as I needed it. I did buy a lot of new things though, but I never went mad! Both families bought us such a lot. Its a wonderful time and although it was years ago for me, I'm hoping it wont be too long before I'm a grandma then I can do it all again lol xxx
Hattie, I'm super excited for you to become a mother! I think you'll be an amazing parent. And I'm very relieved that you've chosen to purchase thrift items for your baby to help save money. Some parents prefer to spend the mega bucks on name brand clothing for their babies as not keeping in mind that the baby doesn't care nor acknowledges the difference of brands and that the baby will quickly grow-out of the clothing. Hence, "living above your means" or "living a life you cannot afford" ideology. I always suggest hand-me-downs, clothing from family members or friends, thrift shopping, and sewing skills to seek more bang-for-the-buck. Being a mother can be a fabulous, fulfilling role... but not when financially struggling to make-ends-meat as failing to limit spending; especially unnecessary spending. To reiterate, I'm very happy that you're going to become a mother. And I think you'll be a perfect first-time mother. Congratulations! Woohoo! And Happy New Year... 2023 is quickly approaching!
Also friends and family will buy LOADS of clothes honestly I was so overwelhmed by people genousoty. Also my little boy was born in august so when we did buy a few new boys we tried to match the age to the season. However he was on 0-3 months for 5 months so some of the clothes that I bought he never worn as he didn’t wear them!
Love this video and huge congratulations on your pregnancy! I am also pregnant for the first time and my due date is also in June 💕 So fun to see you prep and you got some handy tips in your video!! Definitely will be watching all your upcoming video’s, absolutely love your content.
There are so many Facebook freebie sites. I have a 11 week old girl o already have a 3 year old boy literally the clothes 98% of them were completely free or second hand - fir me when the children are older and they want the last eat trainers when they are at school I won’t mind buying them as I’ve saved so much money when they were little NCT runs baby boot fairs too

Yes 100% I’ve barely spent anything so far, there’s no need to get the best of the best brand new of everything 😅
Congratulations!
