Kirk Herbstreit said Will Howard did his job and distributed the ball to the playmakers. Chris Fowler said “ I think he was a bit better than that.” “He was dropping dimes out there.” 24 for 29, 311 yards, 2 TD’s Herbstreit is such a 🤡.
Ohio State went back to Wing T formations to help out that offensive line and running game. Lots of blocking in space and not just downhill. A+ grade for Will Howard.
Ohio State came out with a different mindset different attitude soon as they walked out the tunnel then they did against Michigan. After the warm-up Tennessee players walk past Ohio State players and Ohio State players gave Tennessee a death stare looking mad as hell at them when they walk passed.
@@oh.....5075will needs oline to play well for him to be consistent. Michigan did a good job of pressuring him and he looked like a totally different guy
Wow, our genius coaches finally figured out that our guys are terrible in zone blocking schemes. They finally let our big guys just fire off the ball instead of standing up at the LOS, letting defenders under their pads, and surrendering leverage. How about evaluating your starters in non-zone blocking plays. Luke Montgomery was a beast at times, so why has he been sitting on the sidelines? Could it be that our genius coaches have been evaluating starters in zone dominated game plans, where our big guys have sucked for years.
HTH did y’all lose to Michigan? Coaching staff should forfeit their game checks for that. GA showed the way and OSU did it better. No pressure on Howard at all and throw the ball all over the place. Howard looked like Montana out there. The difference in WR talent was staggering. Welp I put some $ on OSU to win it all during the game before it dropped to much. Would have been nice if we could have scored on first drive of second half to at least make it interesting. If Day doesn’t keep the offense opened up, he deserves to be canned.
Agree. We have 6 5star WRs, one of whom is amazing and has yet to see the field (freshman). Hartline recruits like a madman, then develops them for the nfl, so they just keep coming. Our wideout room is the pride of Buckeye nation.
Will Howard when he has time to throw vs will when he doesn’t is two different guys the oline protection is paramount if he isn’t under siege he can ball but if he is he will make some bonehead errors
Howard still has twice as many losses as Kyle McCord…..and Howard lost to TTUN at home and they were unranked…..KM lost to Xichigan in an Away Game at their house => and they were the eventual National Champions. Buckeye Nation and our Media => were horrible to McCord and he did so much more with so much less…… PS. McCord was a Top 10 Heisman finalist this year ! Day shackled and squandered him and his talent.

It was steak, then chicken, then jumbo shrimp, and some fillet minion.
Ohio State QB's are graded on a curve. Their problem is that the curve is set by Dwayne Haskins, Justin Fields and CJ Stroud.
No, the curve is just being consistent, with no mistakes

Heck, you can say that about all but a few QBs in college OR the NFL!!!!
@ it’s more noticeable with some guys than others though he really melts down with pressure
