Fun fact: In this version, the Camaro and Murcielago's DUB Editions have the correct rims. The PS3/360 gave them regular TIS rims instead of the Modular when you buy/win them.
And yet it was not only quicker than the Corvette at the time, but also could compete with some European exotics performance-wise as well. And to think this was just a heavily modded Buick Grand National. Much like the Lotus Carlton just being a hell-tuned Vauxhall Carlton/Opel Omega.
@@ArbitraryOutcome Yes it was fast and impressive back then. It wasn’t a muscle car though! Never was, never will… The GN / GNX was a product related to the "malaise era". Back in the 70s, Buick stopped production of their V8 and were left with their V6 to work with… They simply did the best they could with what they had available…
@@Maximus20778 The term "muscle car" and "V8 engine" go hand in hand! Go overseas and ask people what they think about when "American Cars" are mentioned… *Big V8s* and *Muscle Cars* are what people think about in general. It’s part of American 🇺🇸 Car Culture! The powerful Dodge Charger, Challenger, Coronet, Dart models all had big V8 engines. Only the base models had a 6 cylinder engine as an option. Big V8s were definitely part of the "muscle car" menu! 🙂

Fords have always been my kind of cars. 💎💙
Especially the Ford Mustangs, Ford GTs, And Shelby Cobras. 💙💜
Funny how the BUICK GNX is in the Muscle Car category. 😅
It isn’t a Muscle Car. It doesn’t even have a V8…

A muscle car doesn't need a V8, just like how dodge in the 60s didn't need v8s and used slant 6s
