I've had the BGVP NS9's for some time now, bought them with my hard fought dosh........great review. On point, what a good review! The 16k peak will very much depend on how people hear it though. Some won't, their hearing may not extend. I heard it give that shimmer. With red filter upper mids are exceptional. My favourite IEM for natural, good timbre mids. Bass really strong but structured, sub bass as in Hans Zimmer, the Dark Night, 3min 20 onwards pretty good. I have 45 IEMs and this is the one I listen to 90% of the time. Warm, can be dark in a good way when needed, but can twinkle and shine when needed......natural and organic sound. To me one of the outstanding features are the spatials, the soundstage is special. Great imaging and width, can be very 3D. I use with stock 2.5mm cable, with a 4.4mm FiiO adapter, Spiral Dots and a HiBy R5 ,4.4mm, high gain, red filter at the moment. Great review.....you really listened.
