Eric, I'm glad you and Jax made it down to PC again. We got busted up worse than I've seen it before (I've been here 30 years). We appreciate all the help we got from out of state people, especially the utility guys and cops. They came from all over the states to help. No rain today - Hope it stays that way a while for you! Keep up the good work!

Most people forgot about the devastation down there once the stories left the news. It is great that this video points out that there are still communities suffering big time long after the storm. Great work as always Eric, and wish the best for Wayne.

It can take months and even years to recover from this kind of devastation. Some people criticize decisions made in the aftermath but it can affect your life in so many ways you can't even imagine until you've lived through a major disaster like this.

So sorry for Wayne and his family and all those in the park. I live in upstate New York and we have bad weather, but nothing like Florida. After a hurricane hits the south, we usually have a few windy, rainy days about five days later. It's so easy for the rest of the country to go on and forget that there are those still effected by the hurricane.stay safe and tell Wayne and his family we wish them the best.

Yep....my home😢😢 I am displaced with my 91 year old "kids" in assisted living facility about two hours away. I still can't stop crying but we will make it one day at a time. Here's some facts: Bay Medical-Sacred Heart Medical Center just let go 800 employees due to infrastructural damage. Our Mall will not be rebuilt...loss of 500 jobs there and we have 3800 students who are considered homeless right now. Panama City has lost around 75% of her homes/buildings. PC has lost 75 to 80% of her trees. Many, many men, women and children are living in tents right now. Please continue to pray for Bay County and our surrounding counties. I promise you, any help would be received with tremendous gratitude. Great video Eric. Praying for Wayne and his family and friends. Be safe, Be blessed.💚❤

One of your best and most informative video releases.
A real eye opener as to just how the power companies and government work together to do nothing just at the right time.
Florida at one time use to be heavy into solar until the electric companies promised they could provide electricity cheaper. Yeah, it really did happen. Anyway, can't wait to see the beach area where you hung out when you were there last.

Eric, I have been following you since you first started. I am shocked about the devastation down there. I was about to purchase property there when this happened. It was so beautiful last year. Thank you for showing us this. I am asking you to drive out to the fire victims in Paradise, CA, The amount of viewers you have will see the help the people there are in need of. One man from Colorado is delivering free RVs donated from viewers, James is his name. I will get the link in a minute.

I was coming out of Alabama into Florida the day after the storm. I was really shocked about how town after town after town was wrecked and no power. We spent the last 5 days running from this storm in a 5th wheel, it was a good thing we did. There are thousands of people in the panhandle of Florida with the same story as Wayne's. I hope Wayne is heading south until the weather passes...it's freezing up North right now.

On a real not you can get these little gps things that you can either install on the bike or get the one where it's like a key fob. Either way, knowing where the bike is in the worse case scenario would be key and getting it back safely. Safe travels

This is really sobering when you realize that Panama City was right in the middle of the massive destruction. My little brother lives right outside Pensacola in his 5th wheel and he was fine - but my niece's work place in Panama City was flattened - so they're now working out of a branch office. Northern Florida is utterly wasted right now - but some folks might find their fortune in the aftermath. As for me - I grew up in Florida and you couldn't get me back there for anything but a family wedding or a funeral.

A friend and I hitchhiked from NH to Panama City FL in 1976, or 77. We had a friend stationed at the Navy Base, where we stayed over one night only to be awakened to a HURRICANE WARNING. We were ushered into an administration building, sat in a hallway listening to all the windows blowing in. These two Yankee girls were amazed. It wasn't even 1/3 as destructive as this one but, we had never seen anything like it.

I was concerned that storms were following me this year. First with the storm near North Carolina. I drove to W Virginia the weekend before the storm, and BAM! on Monday next week the storm rammed into the Carolinas and Virginia. The next one was Panama City, I stayed at a motel on that weekend, my mom called me on phone that a storm was brewing and going my way. Boy was she right, I came back to my home in Middle Georgia a day or two before the sucker landed, and the storm rammed all the way just a few miles south of my town. I was so scared I stayed into my closet all night listening to my shortwave radio. Thank God the hurricane downgraded just miles from my home.
