Ed has life figured out. You can just tell. His wisdom, humility, putting sons/kids first, doing what he finds fulfilling, his demeanor...definitely envious of that but also inspiring. Dudes a Stanford grad who could literally be doing anything, but he coaches high school football because of fulfillment. Dont follow the money, follow your heart.

Lisa's father, Dave Sime, was a silver medalist in the 100 meters at the 1960 Olympics and had a personal best of 10.1. He was drafted (1959) by the Chicago Bears and was also offered by several MLB teams before telling both that he was going to medical school. He wound up being a top ophthalmologist, listing Bob Griese, Mickey Mantle and Don Shula as some of his clients.

@@Davidisawesome15 he has the advantage over Joe Milton in the QB battle as of now due to his experience and athleticism which makes the defense have to account for that. Milton is a good athlete as well but he isn't nearly as quick with his first step as well as with the long speed Dylan possesses, he has the arm strength advantage but Dylan was more accurate when passing when we saw them last. Dylan also knows when to ease up and put more touch on his passes whereas Milton has a habit of just gunning it every throw so his accuracy suffers but that is also a product of having the awareness during a play to know what the situation calls for and when to throw it hard or add touch which Dylan has been cited as having the best football IQ and awareness of any quarterback on the team during his time at Michigan (even more than Speight and Patterson.) That's from being around football his entire life which is a trait a lot of players never develop, I think he'll be Michigan's starter and unfortunately I think he'll make it obvious that Harbaugh should have went with him as the starter early on. The biggest area of improvement for Dylan is knowing when to slide and learning to protect himself when he is running with the ball because he has already suffered a broken collarbone and a separate concussion due to exposing himself to a hard hit even though the collarbone injury was when he was much lighter weight wise and the concussion against Wisconsin was an extremely dirty and premeditated hit to hurt him. The future is bright!

Christian McCaffrey's speed comes more from his mother than his father. Lisa McCaffrey's dad was Dave Sime who won a silver medal in the 1960 Olympic 100m in a then record 10.2 finishing 2nd to Armin Hary who won by an inch in the same time. He 'won' a gold anchoring the men's 4x100m relay, but had the gold stripped when it was found that the US had passed the baton out of the zone between the 1st & second legs.

What great parents I just feel good inside when you see these parents and the love they have for their boys, they teach their boys character and not just football! Who else feels good when they see this?

Lol used to love watch McCaffery play with Elway. I clearly remember the neck cracking. Had no idea Christian McCaffery from the Panthers was his son. Great football family.

Hearing Ed talk gave me goosebumps, and nostalgic memories of my own high school football memories. Football isn’t life , it’s better then life. One team of men vs another team of men, the most prepared physically and mentally win. The team mentality, making sacrifices, the feeling of winning, and the suck of losing together as a team, one of the best times in my life.

HS football was fun, but better than life? Nah, I’ll take being a dad, married, beers with friends...more to life than a game 20 years ago

I remember growing up watching football...McCaffrey always came down with huge possession catches
What a story and what an inspiration to see how big of an impact he continues to have on the game

He was one of my favorite players to watch growing up. Man was a class act and an extremely underrated Wide Out. It is nice to have his son on my favorite team ( packers ) keep him. That family bleeds loyalty

It’s so damn awesome to watch how it all started for some of these professional athletes and their families. Amazing to see the McCaffrey family ball out and continue to be humble, loving and supportive of each other. Wife is definitely one of a kind for sure. 😍🤟🏽
