As a "die hard" Philly fan, for almost my entire life... I didn't miss a second of the playoffs. As a veteran Philly fan, during every single one of those games... I said out loud, "They're not going to win... there's no way they're going to win." at least 20 or 30 times. And I probably said it more during the Super Bowl. It was the most magical Super Bowl I've ever watched.
It was a strange game of de javu. First they use the play Tom Brady tried to run against them in the Super Bowl, then the game ends almost exactly like the playoff game against the Falcons did last year. Very odd.
Yes. I am an eagles season ticket holder. If only you could have seen how crazy the stadium went after the play. I completely dropped my food and started screaming.
As a Jags fan I can only hope that coach Pederson brings some of that magic to Jacksonville. I think he's got us going in the right direction and I love what he did with the leadership council on the Eagles taking their suggestions and making them happen. I haven't heard whether he's done the same in Jacksonville or not, but I hope he does. Seems like a great way to get the team to work together.
Overall, I’d say you guys had a pretty good season. A playoff birth and wild card win no one expected. A few things that need to be tuned up, loss to the chiefs was hard, but considering Kansas is in the Super Bowl right now, I’d say Jacksonville has hope.
As a Giants fan, Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles and Their fans on their SB win. Also I feel you have the right coach, Pederson fits the Eagles culture.
Just wanted to say i appreciate this positive attitude. Eagles vs. Giants is my favorite rivalry in the NFC east and it's awesome to hear that from a giants fan. Lookin forward to week 6. Cheers.
I respect the Eagles more than the Cowboys so don't worry. And at the rate we're losing Week 6 might be a piece of cake for you guys lol smh. But nonetheless, I can't wait either!
22:18 it's why we are all here. This is a SPECIAL moment. That once in a lifetime moment for coach and player to look each other in the eyes, with utmost confidence in each other.
Doug is one of the best in the business to me. 3x nfc east champ, only eagles super bowl champ, and has been coaching a team massacred by injuries the past 2 years
Nick had been running that play since he was 8 years old in Pop Warner football in Westlake (West Austin area). During high school he was 5 for 5 with 5 touchdowns. And he was an All-Region point guard for 3 years on the basketball team so he had GREAT hands. That play had 95% chance of success.

L. Blount was so amazing during this season, i know this film is about the philly special and nick foles is forever a legend in philly! but i need to mention the amazing running game we had with blount + ajayi + clement. blount in particular was amazing during the playoff run, and i believe he had 2 scores in the superbowl.
And the fact Blount won the previous year with New England, wanted to resign with them and they didn’t sign him. So he signs with us and got to put up 2TDs and win against the team that let you go has to be a great feeling 💯
I remember right before this play everyone(the announcers) was saying..."get the 3 points". And I remember telling my wife(this is the only game she ever watched with me and showed interest in) they need to go for it. I always believed in Nick Foles.
I was fortunate enough to be at the Elliot 61 yard game, the divisional round game, and NFCCG that year. What an amazing season that cements this team in history.
Something I really like about the Philly Special play call is that when Foles tells the rest of the team to play, you can see Jason Kelce start nodding. He knows that it’s going to work.
Hopefully one day my Raiders will win a Superbowl again. I know we suck and probably won't win one in 20 years or so but when we do Raider Nation is everywhere and it's probably the biggest is going to be crazy. But Philly deserves to be Super Bowl champions congratulations y'all💯
I mean that one season where he like went crazy starting for the eagles was hella promising and suddenly ppl thought he was ass when he came back to sub for the playoffs
Thats revisionist history. Wentz had just come off of an MVP caliber season that ended in an injury. If we got another season or 2 of that Wentz there's a chance he's considered a top 5 qb imo. He was doing some amazing things that season
Nick is the perfect example of why your quarterback needs to be the smartest person on the field. He checked perfectly, understood the defense and took exactly what rheg were giving him. He outsmarted the smartest player to ever play the game, in Brady
Iconic Superbowl moments Eagles: "wanna run Philly Philly" Chiefs"do we have time to run wasp" Seahawks"let's throw a pick at the 1 instead of running the ball" 🥴

I worked at a sports bar and every season my only rule, If the Eagles go to the superbowl, I WILL NOT COME IN. My managers told me that I am or I dont have a job. Im so glad I saw that whole game from start to finish at my house.
i remember this game and i was arm chairing this game teaching my son about tendencies of down and distance and when they would normally pass and run. and Philly basically did the complete opposite, it was so unpredictable. with like 1000 yards offense, i can say the most entertaining Superbowl on my lifetime.
I waited my whole life to finally see Philly get a Superbowl win... The previous loss to New England 2005 made this one even more special. This year's team needs to watch this reel and get their mind right. 💚
Foles got released too , the owner and gm has no football savvy , they needed to rally behind their best guys and they would have been pretty good for a couple years

Persoj Perfect if you were an eagles fan in 2016 you’d know that was pretty fair at the time, Doug turned it around
🐐🐐
This hard working Eagles roster and coaching staff is something every NFL fan should put respect on.
I’m a patriots fan but that play call of the Philly Special was incredible
As a "die hard" Philly fan, for almost my entire life... I didn't miss a second of the playoffs. As a veteran Philly fan, during every single one of those games... I said out loud, "They're not going to win... there's no way they're going to win." at least 20 or 30 times. And I probably said it more during the Super Bowl. It was the most magical Super Bowl I've ever watched.
The Bonesaw .. I feel this entire comment in my soul
That Vikings game was the exact opposite of what I was expecting. That was insane. But yea I’m sure you for sure.
Lmao they did it again against the Falcons.
Whilst epic in a Super Bowl, not so much in an ordinary season opener. Don’t run a clutch play unnecessarily!
It was a strange game of de javu. First they use the play Tom Brady tried to run against them in the Super Bowl, then the game ends almost exactly like the playoff game against the Falcons did last year. Very odd.
gcm747 We needed momentum. If it means using a clutch play to win the game I'll take it.
RansomeStoddard It's "deja vu"
So far he has. Jaguars advancing in the playoffs
But nonetheless, I can't wait either!
sturdy and trying ..!
22:18 it's why we are all here. This is a SPECIAL moment. That once in a lifetime moment for coach and player to look each other in the eyes, with utmost confidence in each other.
Doug is one of the best in the business to me. 3x nfc east champ, only eagles super bowl champ, and has been coaching a team massacred by injuries the past 2 years
looking at the debbie downers who ignorantly complain about his coaching in 2020 -- tied for first in the NFL for most IR players.
Brings a tear to my eyes to have witnessed this after 14 long years of being a fan 🦅

One of the happiest moments on Philadelphia's history.
A coaching legend in Philly!
I loved the look on Doug Pederson's face when Foles said Philly Philly.
Foles is simply a legend.

He turned critics and skeptics into fan's just shows that thing's take time but he's proven to be up to the task
As a Pats fan i'll never forget coach Belichick say after the super bowl loss. "I was outcoached" It was a great game!!
Hats off to my peeps at NFL Films for having coach and quarterback wired and one of the ground cams johnny-on-the-spot capturing the moment!
Dear Eagles, thanks for the Memories. And Always Fly Eagles Fly.🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
I'm a cowboys fan and I get shivers watching this. It's an amazing story.
I remember right before this play everyone(the announcers) was saying..."get the 3 points". And I remember telling my wife(this is the only game she ever watched with me and showed interest in) they need to go for it. I always believed in Nick Foles.
I remember saying you have to take chances to beat the Patriots. You cannot let B + B get in your head
I was fortunate enough to be at the Elliot 61 yard game, the divisional round game, and NFCCG that year. What an amazing season that cements this team in history.
Who is watching this December 2498 for some reason

Loved The Call In Super Bowl 52. You Had Nothing To Lose, & So Much To Gain. The Words, "World Champions", Had A Nice Ring To It.
But Philly deserves to be Super Bowl champions congratulations y'all💯
thanks man
Know this is kinda late but y’all are looking good this year I think you guys are gonna get the 6/7th seed
@@ianmalone6847 welp this aged well

That whole season and the playoffs were amazing. So many good games
One of the best day of my entire life
Philly Philly!!!

wonder why they didn't use edp's videos 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Lol family channel
"DOUG PEDERSON CAN LICK MY WHOLE ASSCRACK" Lmao
who even are these other guys? I've never seen them before. Not that I follow Eagles TH-camrs besides EDP. Did the NFL just mock them up?
LetThePoorStarve 2 of them were Archfiend and Philly .500. No clue who the tan guy was
Why do you think?
Worse move the eagles organization has ever made was letting go of foles. he should be the qb of that team and leading them for the next 10 + years.
@@onetakehoovie5955 I wish he has a chance to throw to smith. That’s all that’s really been missing.
Lmfao
"We're gunna become the Browns of the league"
😂
i don’t see anything wrong with that 😂
Imagine if they included EDP’s rants against Pederson, that would’ve been gold.
Corey Clement made a perfect pitch on that play. Perfect. Undrafted rookie. 4th down, at the one, in the Super Bowl and he does it perfectly.
Here from the future aaaaaand....
Who where the 6% that believed Hue Jackson would be a better Head Coach than Doug Pederson?! lmao
Right because I’m sure you knew about pederson before he was even hired Smh.
Hue Jackson was a great coordinator. People had reason to believe that he would be a good coach.
browns fans who wanted him gone
Carlos Perez As a long time Packer fan who followed his coaching career prior to the Eagles, I did. Not everybody is clueless.
Kermelbapfe haha
Nick is the perfect example of why your quarterback needs to be the smartest person on the field. He checked perfectly, understood the defense and took exactly what rheg were giving him. He outsmarted the smartest player to ever play the game, in Brady
Iconic Superbowl moments
Eagles: "wanna run Philly Philly"
Chiefs"do we have time to run wasp"
Seahawks"let's throw a pick at the 1 instead of running the ball" 🥴
@Charles Hunt the play may have been regular but the throw wasn't he didn't even step into the throw and basically threw it 50
@Charles Hunt that play required great coverage and plenty of time for hill to get back there open, plus mahomes stepped back like 10 yards it was a great play
Memorable game, and great job by NFL films capturing the Philly magic.
It has got to be a great feeling to know that not only the coach wants you, but the fans have that same enthusiasm about you.😇
Yeah that’s bold alright, but have you ever thrown the ball on the goal line of the super bowl... #shouldhaveranit
ChipotleIsLife 23 I still have nightmares about that, one play away with one of the best running backs and you throw. 😭
Ludacrits on the flipside, if they made it, it would've been the greatest play call in history lol
John50 Beach it still would’ve been stupid. Just really lucky
Dont even get me started haha
Damn. Poor Seahawks... But hey Pete Carroll was going for stats. He got one stat WORST PLAY CALL IN HISTORY
Bud light came through wit a crazy statue! It looks cool as hell
I worked at a sports bar and every season my only rule, If the Eagles go to the superbowl, I WILL NOT COME IN. My managers told me that I am or I dont have a job.
Im so glad I saw that whole game from start to finish at my house.
That’s awesome
22:47 you're welcome
thanks
THANKS
Omg thank u... Wtf just spend 10 min looking for the play Jesus Christ lol
*Smh my head* ur not welcome I wanted to see the whole video that leads up to *THE PHILLY SPECIAL*
THANK YIU MY FRIEND
22:38 Blount voice philllly special 😂😂
Probably one of the most inspiring things in football to watch. Especially as an Eagles fan.
Literal chills running down my spine! Go Philly!!!! 🦅
True players coach.
H'es a damn good coach, proving it again in Jacksonville. Respect.
What an absolutely beautiful Super Bowl.
When he said they were going to run the ball my mom said like the Seahawks never did
The fact that this amazing game happened on my birthday was insane. One of, if not the best birthday present I have ever gotten.
Well made. thanks NFL.
i remember this game and i was arm chairing this game teaching my son about tendencies of down and distance and when they would normally pass and run. and Philly basically did the complete opposite, it was so unpredictable. with like 1000 yards offense, i can say the most entertaining Superbowl on my lifetime.
Watching this in 2021. Oh how far we’ve come.
Who's here after Doug Pederson got fired?
Here

Me lol
Here
Can someone tell me why? I just started getting into watching American football
I just really wish they used an EDP clip
I waited my whole life to finally see Philly get a Superbowl win... The previous loss to New England 2005 made this one even more special. This year's team needs to watch this reel and get their mind right. 💚
Doug Pederson was fired after the 2020 season because a Superbowl win and 2 seasons making it to the playoffs just isn't good enough for some people.
Lost the locker room
Foles got released too , the owner and gm has no football savvy , they needed to rally behind their best guys and they would have been pretty good for a couple years
Oh you just know he's gonna make the jags be super cracked after next year lol.
@@nateflora732 You're nuts. Howie Roseman is THE best GM in football, no question.
