Wow! Totally not a fan of trucks, but love the deep snow and would enjoy doing this for the rest of my life!!! That is amazing! The location, snow, machine! Amazing. Great video, as well!
Great video and awesome truck. Nokian tires really are impressive! I have Nokian Hakka R3 on my BMW z4 here in Chicago. Nokian makes the best snow tires in the industry imo. It’s been fun driving in the snow in my rwd car with no issues.
Yes working with Nokian on developing this tire was excellent, great company with high quality material and work. These tyres can almost be said as a "game changer" in many types of snow.
That is quite impressive - despite the rather disappointing plasticky interior. If you fitted another truck with those wheels, would you get the same kind of performance?
The hose will normally be pulled out before breaking, but the hose and the connectors are the weak point very easy to carry with you and replace. The system will send á warning sound if sudden pressure is lost
Nice to hear from someone in the NT, I was not expecting to get a question about sand there but should not be surprised as this is a huge area. Answering from our experience with sand in general then when using the low enough tire pressure the dry sand is easy to drive on, the big volume of air we have in these tires, allows us to deflate the tires much more than smaller tires given similar weight/load. This link demonstrates how the lower tire pressure affects the tire, you can see that in 5 psi we still have a very functional tire, capable of high speed for long time (in colder climate) th-cam.com/video/lPRmMFfUJV8/w-d-xo.html and this link has an old video/different tires using 7psi easily driving in volcanic sand th-cam.com/video/3od-zmuzaqU/w-d-xo.html . The low tire pressure gives you soft tire which absorbs the washboards that often form on sand so you can travel in comfort :)
There is some misunderstandings, this is a Lariat, if we had used the Raptor it would be too wide to be street legal in Iceland using these tires, we tried but all our calculations got us too wide due to the tire&and wheel width and possible offset
deep snow? Not at all, this is quite light conditions. Pressure pipes on the wheels - who was so creative? Have you seen cars prepared for offroad? My road to country side house - th-cam.com/video/vdEd6DSDyxM/w-d-xo.html
Wow. Impressive performance. I like the music too. Made me feel happy and anything was possible.
Incredible build! Please keep sharing

That is amazing content starting around 3:38
OMG this my dream pickup
How can we find out about getting these tires to the US? Thanks
Where can I buy one?
Now that a thick ass truck

The Toyota Land cruiser is considered the best suv for customisation in Iceland

SMH 🤦♂️
may i know black wires between wheels and car body it's use for?
These hoses are used as part of central Tire inflation system, handling to let air out or inn of request
@@EG1000IS Thank you
Who sells these types of flotation donut tires? I see them on Russian jeeps on google but can’t get a brand or company
Nokian
so let me guess, if you break one of the hoses in some ice or anything else hidden in the snow, you instantly get a flat that you can't change?

I wonder how this would do on our dry sand like snow here in the Northwest Territories? I miss Iceland and its “super Jeeps.”

Forgot one more video in sand.. th-cam.com/video/_zp9553fp60/w-d-xo.html you can see the car hardly marks tracks in the soft sand there..
I drive this one day
Whats the line going to the tires?
For inflating and deflating the tires
@@EG1000IS never saw your response thank you!
What's the wire for sticking out of the fender to the wheel?
This is for inflating and deflating the tires, controlled from inside the car (android app via blue tooth)
Cool! Is this an add on to the truck?
@@simplelife8305 Yes this is an option
@@EG1000IS how is it for inflating and deflating? They look like they are connected to the center of the wheels.
@@Xtramedium415 there is a special bearing that allows air to go through even through it spins
Nice! But why did you not get the raptor? 🤷♂️🤔
too expensive, i guess

Emil Grimsson alright makes sense,. Well congratulations the truck looks dope AF! 👍🙌
How much custom suspension did you have to do to keep the front ifs from grenading with that big a tire on it?
most of the work is on rebuilding the body and partly the frame to fit the tires with no or minimal lift. In the case of this car it has 40mm lift

Miss the Russian “jeep” but you wouldn’t be driving him in this condition
So much better than some weak little Toyota - respect!
Still they prefer the Toyota's driving on glaciers - like Greenland and the Arctic... why is that 🤔
Nice truck; much better than the Toyota little contraptions.
Че это за подкачка такая смешная
Saved by a Toyota Land-Cruiser...
That's not enough motor for that application, I don't care what anybody says.
Lose the Disco, please.
Great off-road fun but the music sucked sorry but yep no thanks
😂
Super nice truck but I had to stop watching due to the incredibly ANNOYING music!
You have a shit taste in music. Go listen to cardib fk boi
Same here
