Thanks! That cooler looks pretty sweet, but I don't have any plans to test it. It'll be a while before anyone can really give the 24 hour ice claim a good run for it's money though, since it's so late in the year right now.
Yes, they should fit in the center bottom of the bag, even 18V tools. I've put an M18 impact and drill in there myself. An extra battery might be a little tight, but I think you can still do it.
I've had One-Key tools drain the battery when it's hooked up and stored for an extended period of time, but I store other tools with them on. It's probably best practice to leave them off though.
I’d suggest trying to wear your bag higher up on your back. To where the top of the bag is almost even with your shoulders. It’ll help save you from back pain in the long run. Just a suggestion. Great video.
I used the tape loop for my impact for 3 month and ripped that loop right off...I wish they would add some support from the inside for people like me lol
It's kind of funny - all the other Milwaukee tool storage products I have (bucket wrap, rolling tool bag, and 10" Packout tote) don't have a tape clip when I want one, but this backpack does and I don't use it!
Not waterproof. It will handle a short walk from a vehicle to inside in the rain, but if you leave it out in the rain it will eventually soak through. Milwaukee does make a technician's bag that comes with an integral rainfly though.
By no means can having the name "MILWAUKEE" on the bag be considered "LOW PROFILE". The idea of low profile is to disguise the bag as a regular bag. Thieves will automatically know the bag is full of expensive goodies.
Fantastic review. Perfect for a commercial electrician.
Thanks! It's still holding up great a year later too - I carry it back and forth to work every day.
Wish they had the larger Milwaukee backpack back in my college days. Would have been way better than the standard book backpack.
HEMI LOVER Grow up! You're the tool that needs some class.
Hey ! Is the backpack really reliable for a heating plumber ?
I haven't had any problems with mine, but I'm not a plumber so I can't speak to that.
The bottom of the backpack doesn’t have that hard plastic cover. It be interesting how it holds up in the rain.
Awesome review you should make a video on the Milwaukee cooler/lunchbox next!

Do you think you can fit both a 1/4'' impact drill and 1/2'' hammer drill in there along with a battery?

Thanks and that leads me to my next question, do you recommend leaving the battery on when I'm not in use or when traveling around?

Thanks for the tip. Glad the review was helpful!

I’m guessing this is waterproof??
