- Gavin Friday talkes to John Robb about his brilliant new solo album "ecce Homo' recorded with David Ball, Virgin prunes, Dublin, Lankum, Christianity, the pagan, Ogham stones and how post punk changed the world
One of the most underrated musicians of all time.
What a wonderfully interesting conversation with a legend. Thanks for making this happen, John.
The Master is Back, Amazing,
Loved the Prunes best band to come out of Ireland. Remember seeing them in the TV Club in Dublin 80 or 81. Best concert I have been too. Gavin is so right walking your dog is the most spiritual thing you can do❤.
Love this. I never got to see Virgin Prunes live, I live on the other side of the planet, but they were a huge source of inspiration. Wonderful interview.
thanks!
It's a brilliant new album !
Brilliant band/life style. Especially coming from Ireland in those days, I had collected everything from this band, as a kid, Best Wishes always
thanks - they changed the culture of Ireland!
Ooh. Just stumbled across this. Whats not to like. Will keep this for watching in bed tonight
12:52 --We have an absolute raving lunatic.
I've never met Gavin , most stuff that I've seen he comes across as being a nice guy !
Over the years I've seen a few not so nice comments , but it's typical to attack people who are successful !
But all I've seen , he comes across ok !
Some people I've met have seemed to me to be arrogant or conceited , but when I've got to know them really well all I see is their confidence and are nice people !
@@MadderMel he’s a really good guy still on the punk rock trail!
We need the punk rock trail more than ever!
Gavin is a Pure Gent, Best Wishes,
👍

@@JOHNROBBofficial Nice one. As usual 👍
volume way too low

Beginning is quite, but after 5:33 it gets louder, to a normal volume at least.
