Bhai I'm from Raipur. We had train from here to Delhi on 30 June and took Volvo from Delhi to manali on 1 July. We reached Manali on 2 July noon. We explored everything in manali, it's National park, hadimba devi, Manu temple, jogini, vasisth and went to kasol on 4 july evening and returned to Delhi on 8 july. Bro trust me no one could have expected that this incident would occur. The Weather was so beautiful there and suddenly this happened.
I pray for the people and tourists stuck there. 🙏

i have been to manali 3 times and its my favourite place. it is really heart breaking to see devastation happening in manali and himachal pradesh. it is heartbreaking to see people's home, animals, shops, and vehicels getting drowned in beas.i pray for the well-being and safety of all the people in himanchal pradesh . stay strong and wait for the weather to be clear and normal...🫶❤🤟🏻🙏

... i was there in June 21 for 10 days near atal institute of mountering .... enjoyed every bit of the wide spectrum of mountains ... its very tragic to see manali in this way
We have to understand that any construction near the river should not be allowed also govt should put a some kind of tax on tourists visiting there which goes towards diasaster management team to help local people of himachal who got loss due to this floods..Himachal is a beautiful place with great culture i have many memories from there its always felt like second home..

We reached Manali on 8th of July midnight and we were stuck there for 3 days in heavy rain and no Netwrk no electricity.
The nights were scariest of all the anxiety and stress was on another level .
I’m glad we survived and reached home safely after being stuck for 3 days in hotel .

I feel so bad for the residents of Himachal. This may be a natural disaster, but the degree of unsustainable development undertaken by policy makers over the last three decades has made the damages exponentially worse than they needed to be. The greed, ignorance and impatience of politicians and overall arrogance towards nature and the force of the Himalayas has led to a situation where the locals are suffering. A lot of this suffering could've been avoided if development was in harmony with nature.
Even nature seeks for the justice ! Because it is the only one so close to God !

Amazing video watching from Canada. There is lot of loss in parts of Punjab and Haryana too due to flooding. Some area homes had 5 feet water and people living on upper floors or roofs of homes. Army is rescuing people in boats. Crops are under water and damaged.
Don't manali have Amateur Ham operators who can transmit messages to other HAM operators via handheld radio in other cities... so they let the families of tourists know that they are safe.
