I also wanted to say that I agree with you so much on Spike Brothers. I went into the set looking to get Megacolony for my Standard deck, but after going to a Sneak Preview, pulling a VR Seifried and trying a game or two with them really opened my perspective on Vanguard as a whole. I always knew of Spike Brothers existence but I never played a game with them and my only experience with them was the Hellhard 8 decks when it came out. I already bought most of the stuff for my Standard deck, and I am playing them on CFA, I even gave my deck recipe to a friend who doesn't know what he wants to play in Standard, but he found the deck fun as well. I hope the prices go down though once everyone jumps on the 7 clans coming in the next 2 months. I am super excited to say Spike Brothers is my Standard Clan.
Roxasofmalice I would recommend you check a youtuber who's a Spike Brothers player for a long time named Living Proof (He'll have a grizzly bear on his icon pic) for when future Spikes support start coming out, or to check out his different deck build in standard.
I'm pretty sure we are getting the promo strides in English. iDeal808 has them up on their website under their Destructive Roar section, and they are labeled as PR.

When you use a RG Machining Hornet's skill, you HAVE to put the Hornet into the soul. It's a mandatory part of the effect.
Honestly, this set so far has been my favorite. Other than my main clan getting a great boost in support like I mentioned some time ago, basically all of the clans in this set are at least pretty good, so if a new comer were to build a deck from this set they can't go wrong with any of the clans it haves to offer.
The only nitpick I can really think of is how Megacolony's game doesn't hold a candle to Oracle Think Tank in terms of draw power, but honestly with all the skills it can pull off is a decent trade off. Plus this will also mean a MC deck will be the cheaper Protect clan in the game for those who can't afford getting the essential cards for a competitive OTT deck.
It definitely is a lot more quality than expected tbh! I was mostly surprised by how fun Spikes are haha
Regarding Spike Bouncer's 2nd skill, it's soooooo good with the Kagero match up. In my experience if you can get that skill, Treasured Black Panther, and Gary Gannon on the field and then back off before your opponent can even retire them, you'll be so far ahead by the time you ride the Seifried (and with plenty of stuff to CB since your opponent has to attack the VG) that you can often knock them out turn 3
That's definitely true! And also just in general, I think it's good against any match-up where your opponent wants to endlessly deny you the CB.

You’d think spike brothers would be accel and tachikaze be force but no.
If Spike Bouncer is rode, can you call a Grade 3 with his skill of digging through the top X cards? I believe you can't control anything higher than your Vanguard grade.
So I'm trying to get back in the game. I haven't played since the early days of vanguard. I was looking around on TH-cam and apparently all the cards that i already have are worthless🤔
For the V series, yes. But in Premium both old and new cards can be used.

Christopher Knight Yes, again, if you want to play in Standard Format then you'll need to buy the new cards. There's nothing wrong with using proxies for the time being, but you will need the v era version of a card to play a deck legally in competitive. Your old versions can still be used in Premium, but if you want to use the new cards in Premium you will need to get the V series version since both cards have different abilities.

Christopher Knight Well if I were you I would first look for people willing to play Premium cause like I said not all of the old cards are obsolete. Just think of it like any other card game since Bushiroad said they'll support Premium too.

Is there a reason, why you no longer add the Brakedowns to the playlist? I was watching a couple of them and I saw that the Playlist is only up to GB-12. I'm just asking out o interest.
Just forgot to haha, but I'm gonna separate the G breakdowns and the V breakdowns as their own things, so once I can sit down in the next few days I'll re-organise things haha

I have to disagree when it comes to watergang it is a 4 of because its like the best 2 in the clan because you play hell demise and its almost better to draw 2 cards then using spark hercules in theearly game

It's Kinda Sad That Megacolony's Boss Cards Has No Stun Gimmick Skill Anymore.
But if they want us to zeal our opponent every turn, then i have no complain >_>
