@lorenz21100 Well, Hi-Ougi are used by individual characters. To use, simple go into overlimit (R1 and L1) when the bar is full. Use an Arcane Arte/Powerful Spell and press Circle while doing it. JUst don't let the bar runs out first though.
Strange that they gave Eugene and Mao their own singlized mystic artes in this game, but none of the Rebirth characters in TotW2 have any mystic artes at all.
This is a PSP exclusive to begin with... so many lost opportunities. And Japan exclusive too, I want to play this with my friends and kick their asses with Kratos.
after having 2500 gp set (i believe thats the amount) you just use a arcane arte while in overlimit and hold the attack button as it goes for most tales games nowadays
@sasukesama90 You need your character to have 2500 GP or higher, Have an Arcane Arte set to one of the X button commands, and you need to hold the Circle button while the Arte is being preformed. For Spellcasters (Mao, Tear, etc.) it just needs to be a high-level spell and Non-magic users (Luke, Lloyd, Yuri, etc.) it's just an Arcane Arte.

Well, Guy shares the same moveset as other Tales characters who were featured in this game, and it looks like they were trying to avoid clones (Besides Luke. Get it?).
yes, but most of them are their original mystic arte, If you play symphonia 2, you will know that Eternal recurrence is only used by Richter to counter Emil's Ain soph Aur. So it's not as cool as other character's mystic arte. it's just too simple : ) (sorry If this sounds offensive -_-). wow, I didn't notice all that difference )
for my opinion: 4 characters from tales of symphonia, only one from symphonia 2. they should at least add alice. like that, we could finally play with her. gameplay is not bad, but really slow. the chrono really pisses me off, because it breaks all the sense of the battle. "lol you lost because the AI was a coward and in 5 minuts you didn't killed it 3 times" level design is horrible, all the stages look like hyrule temple from smash bros melee.
They are not hated, heck Emil managed to make the Top 10 in the popularity polls. Reason why they are not in is probably cause they don't fit into the story(and too many swordies are bad).
Well I think that when Emil drops hes balls when he turn into this "ratatosk mode" he turns too violante to this game. Richter too is epic but Emil and Marta should have their places in this game.

Did Senel Coolidge even have an Ougi in his original game? (Legendia if I am not mistaken)
Pretty sure they missed out quite a few characters with swords like emil and guy because over half of the cast in this game already use them.

Most cut ins don't match their attacks. Only Cless has any resemblance to his actual attack.
