The UK power plug & on/off button are dead give aways it is fake .... the LED lights may be a little bit more difficult to distinguish if u haven’t seen the actual product before
Since you have the serial number, have you actually registered the warranty via Dyson website? Can the serial number successfully register for warranty?
Yes actually you can received mine yesterday and registered it straight away then on closer inspection realised it was fake so actually spoke to dyson and they confirmed the fake serial numbers can actually be registered.
@@elyros6155 same performance because they use the same parts. But if you get it for a third of the price, it can't be the same quality or performance, I'm sure the parts are low quality at that discount. You can contact us for the highest version
i feel like i’ve just purchased from the same person🤦🏽♂️ £250, they’ve got 99.4% feedback and been on since 2008. the name is “goodsexperts” i’m hoping it’s not fake
He said he got it for £250 from a seller with perfect feedback that has been on ebay for over 10 years. You can get a dyson for £299 so if you pay £250 from someone that has a good record with 10 years history You would think you're getting a genuine product
Glad someone did a review on uk/European fake one!
But does it work ? Does it eliminate frizz on hair ?
Can you disassemble it to see the inside of it?
glad someone made a review on this

U said the serial no. Check out...so how does that make it not genuine? Would dyson not accept it?
I would never buy Dyson products on ebay or somewhere else especially on discounted price. Better to buy it from Dyson website.
Are you still happey with the hair dryer
Thanks for the useful video. I was planning to buy exactly same from ebay UK.
why not from us, Ebay is much more expensive
Did your serial number register successfully with Dyson despite it being fake product?
of course no problem.
But I bought mine from dyson website and the serial number doesn't match and the on light doesn't illuminate. So I think I have a fake

Notice on the front of the box it doesn`t have the word "Thermistor" That`s another giveaway.
How does it perform? If the performance was as good I'd happily buy it for a third of the price.
Yeah.... Not saying the most important part.... 🙄🙄

So can the warranty be registered?
Ong Chin Koon if fake, no
Thanks for the info.
It is also missing the big gray block between the plug and the hairdryer.
The big block is for North American models only.

Even the genuine ones cut out ,I’ll never buy an overpriced Dyson product again.
Boycott dyson
Bet it was proper cheap tho. It's your own fault if you buy a £400 hair dryer for about £50
