When I was a kid in PE back in the 80s (😆) and our sides would hurt running, our PE coach had us put our arms above our heads and take deep breaths. It actually helps! She wasn’t about to let us stop running lol
We did, teach to the opposite side with one arm over your head while the other is on her waist then burp 😂 so if the stitch was on your right side your right arm would reach over your head and you’d put your left on your waist and bend to the left side then burp… very if it works, right? 😂
I wish it was this good for me. I have 4 autistic kids. The oldest is home schooled, the two middle ones are in theraphy from 9-4:30 and my youngest is waiting to get into theraphy. I find myself waking up at 7:40 which isn’t really enough time to pack bags, get them dressed and all. I find myself rushing but then I don’t want to wake up any earlier. It’s chaos in my home lol

We have changed our dishwasher routine. ✨ I loved putting it on at night to unpack in the morning. We do it in reverse now so that we can use our solar energy to power it. Have gotten used to it now. Looking at getting a battery in the future for our solar. Loved this video! Love a good routine video. Thank you 🫶🏻

I’m a runner and taking fast shallow breaths can cause a side stitch. Also make sure you’re hydrating before, during and after. It helps prevent muscle cramping aka (side stitches).
I find it so ironic you mentioned about not rushing to get rid of Christmas decor bc I’m feeling the EXACT same way. I also was planning on leaving decor up in January for a minute. I’m feeling sad we are so close to Christmas honestly-but I can totally relate to what you said❤

Side stitch: breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth, slow down and stretch if you need to. Running uphill tends to also help me (I get them most going downhill)

I transition my Christmas decor into Winter decor and it gives me an excuse to lease up some of my garland and smaller trees until Valentines day. I basically just remove everything that is red or says Christmas on it and leave up all of the green, black and white decor.
Side stitches are from drinking that coffee and having it on your stomach when running! Just sip a little water (not a lot) when you run in the morning.
3 kids here and last Christmas morning - I had our tree taken down before we left for my moms by noon hahahaha I knew we’d have a lot of toys and I’d be overwhelmed! But we got a new slim noble fir christmas tree & I’m loving it !!! Doesn’t take up a lot of space and I’m loving the slim look 🎄 But I’m w ya - not ready to take it down & we’re busy two days after Christmas so maybe the 28th we’ll take it down & decorate for new years & winter - lots of white and snowflakes! It’s my fav decor !!!
Maybe try satin pillowcase or a bob to help with Ella's hair, it might help? I've chg my routine to get as much done so I can go out when it's still daylight outside. If Mr. can help I don't see why I can make up the beds, too instead of delaying!!

We run it every night. My kids(11,12,16) unload it in the morning. We are a homeschool family so all meals and snacks are eaten at home or packed to go so we also run it after lunch. I wash all the big dishes so we can fit more in it. If it's a baking day we might run it a third time. We are gluten and added egg free. We exclusively use free range eggs so we don't buy anything that includes eggs already...allergies are weird.
Hi. Thank you for the video. I find that if I drink just before or during exercise I get stitch, if I run and then drink I am fine, I'm not sure what causes this but it has helped me and I can run 10k without a drink but drink loads when I finish. Take care of yourself

As far as the side stitch/pain- I used to run track and was told to put your arms up with hands behind head... Nowadays, I have found that the pain usually goes away if you continue to jog... Will be painful for a little bit until then, though 😅
You get a side stitch because you are drinking water during your run. Try not drinking water at least 10 mins before your run and only sip water very slowly when you are actively running. After you run you can drink as much as you want! A peloton instructor told me that and it worked.
The side pain is real. I did couch to 5k as well. I am now running 5 to 6 miles at a time (at a turtles pace), but still deal with the side pain. I have found if I try to hunch over and breath it can help, but most of the time I just have to keep going and it will eventually go away. I wish I could find a fix for it.

Hi Tiffany... you mentioned that you have pain in your side/hip. Well the best thing to do is boil some whole cloves in water and drink that and I promise you the pain will be knocked out. Try it. Love all your videos by the way, such a beautiful family.

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism too right after I had my first and only child over 13 years ago,My wrists were so sore.. I could barely hold him.. finally went to the doctor and sure enough had this… Ive gained weight and have never felt tired.. even after having my son, after turning 35 last year, the fatigue hit!! Not sure whats up.. whats your energy levels?
What time do you go to bed to feel your best at 5:45? I find that I struggle so hard to get up and workout in the morning but then by the end of the day I don’t want to work out so my goal is to try and find that balance.

It happens when we are not breathing correctly while running. Like if you hold your breath vs. in through your nose and out through your mouth!
As a former track runner, yes! Our coach would have us do this. It does help!

For the side cramp: raise the opposite arm. In my experience ( marathoner) the side cramps come from going too fast in the beginning.
Try a silk bonnet and/or pillow case. It helps with keeping hair from getting tangled.

Dishwasher gets run the night b4 and emptied right in the am! I always try to have dishes and the house picked up b4 we leave for the bus at 830!

That's so clever to use a salad spinner for berries. I don't like a soggy moldy berry or to have to dry them individually with a paper towel.

Love the video! Quick tip for washing shoes... Throw a towel in with them and thell get cleaner and it won't be as loud. 😁

I could barely hold him.. finally went to the doctor and sure enough had this… Ive gained weight and have never felt tired.. even after having my son, after turning 35 last year, the fatigue hit!! What time do you go to bed to feel your best at 5:45? I find that I struggle so hard to get up and workout in the morning but then by the end of the day I don’t want to work out so my goal is to try and find that balance.

I remember hearing that! I think mine may stay up all january lol but without ornamants maybe we will see. The girls have a pink tree so we said wed decorate it for valentines day
