I don't know if this is a thing, but after listening to many asmr recordings is there any way to remove the static in the background? I know better headphones could fix some of it, but some people have used pop filters in an odd way or sound form to prevent some static. I was wondering if anyone else had this similar listening predicaments
You may be experiencing two types of static. I may be formed by the recording's audio and is referred to as "white noise," which can only be removed by good microphones and soundproofing/cancelling in the room. This video has VERY little white noise. The other type is on your end and is more commonly an electric buzz which is caused simply by the electronics and signals in your computer. If using headphones, try unplugging other USB devices to see if the annoying sound is reduced (sometimes works, especially if you're listening with volume high). Hope this helped clear up some confusion.
