I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for taking the time to make it. I'm researching the different areas of Allegheny to hopefully go with the hubby and puppy. Haven't been since I was a kid. Stayed at a cabin like that in the winter and toboggand. What a great memory.
I used to camp there with my family when I was young in 84' or 85'. This bring back a lot of memories. The cool rocks that have seashell imprinted on them. Playing with the newts and crayfish in the creek. How much does it cost to stay there a week? If you could let me know I would very much appreciate that!
Hello! I’m not sure of weekly rates these days, but day rates are around $80 per day i believe. Hoping to get back there soon so if i do, I’ll mention pricing in that camping video.
@the_Abandon Thank you for your response! It greatly helps for the plan to visit next year. I tried to look for the number to call, but I guess it goes to a travel agency.
not sure exactly, my buddy rented it, but i think it was only around 70 bucks for the two nights. the bare bones cabins are typically pretty cheap. However, i was just looking to book one next week and i think we've hit the part of the season where they only rent out ones with heat now... BOOO!
This channel needs more subscribers. Good stuff. I go camping on Gypsy (now known as Bear Ridge) every year. Allegany is my happy place.
Appreciate that! I do love Allegany, it’s a great spot. Got another trip planned there real soon. Cheers buddy!
