I have this on vinyl with the fizzo best fuckn album ever. Its one of my rarest and 1 album in my vinyl collection.💯RIP PROOF AND DILLA! RESPECT TO DETROIT
so can anyone tell me if this shit is real, cause ive been researching this for ages and some of these tracks from funky cowboys sound like the vocals were isolated and placed over a beat. Like on "Life" you can hear his vocal wobble up and down at certain points as if a snare had been isolated from the vocal. just hella skeptical if anyone can let me know this is the real deal.
Pretty sure that example you gave for Life is because of the Cassette Fidelity, sometimes when two HI or Low ends peak they cause that to happen. I've had it happen myself. Also the fact that the beats don't exist anywhere else other then the release is a pretty good sign they're real
@@jordanhenderson3307 that's very true tbf, didn't know it came from cassette but makes sense for the time. Also proof drops a bar towards dilla about the players beef in life. Its crazy cause I ain't heard no one talking about this album, I heard a rumour it existed but was never released and then I found the whole funky cowboys ting. Do you know if this was an unlicensed release? Sorry for the questions this shits all new news to me.
@@tomahawkANDscopZ all good bro, they're good questions. I'm pretty sure just because of the low keyness of Chopped Herring , no one was really looking out for it. I'm guessing people close to him already had the songs on tape
