- All you can do some days is THE NEXT THING. It's not easy to be thankful when you're 22 days away from family on Thanksgiving day. But no matter how hard it is or tired I am, I do the next thing. I rebate my fishing line and try something new. You don't give up, do you? Just keep on casting. And at some point you figure it out and you start catching catfish again. So you start the fire, you've got the catfish and you eat it. And if that's all you have strength to do. You do the next thing.

If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.
Now I like you even more the fact that you are editing and still leave in the emotional stuff about the girls is great. It takes a real man to admit it's ok to cry .

Love watching the challenge and can’t stop watching the challenge... been giving much thought to the unexpected illness with the projectile vomiting and nausea... my son in law just had something very similar and it turned out being a MAJOR gall bladder issue... all that fat and the quantity of MUD BUGS consumed maybe the culprit... might want to research this possibility!!!

With catfish when you run out of bait and have the fish you have already caught you can also use the fishes stomach it is really tough and has good scent

i have a challenge fot you. you have 3 minutes to grab what you can and that's what you survive with for a period you determine (i usually go for about 2 months its great for bug out drills)
It would take me 4 seconds to realize where my closest Burger King would be. Bug Out initiated
This isnt a survival challenge in the slightest it's just a long catch and cook challenge
