The many names for one special guy. Happy 90th Birthday, Grandpa. We LOVE you!
Video is of us celebrating Grandpa's 90th birthday in Pittsboro, Indiana.
Grandpa’s surprise 90th birthday party was one of the main reasons we decided to take the leap for full-time RV travel. We knew we didn’t want to miss it, and we knew we wanted to spend some time with Grandpa and for the boys to have more time with him. I grew up with him and my Grandma 10 minutes away from us, but he’s lived in Indiana since the boys were born.
We were planning on spending a week in the RV in Indy before moving to the next stop, but Jonathan’s broken leg and unexpected surgery caused us to live with Grandpa and Grandma Mary for 10 days and spend almost a month in Indy. In hindsight, we’re glad we got ‘stuck’ there and are so thankful for our plans going out the window. It meant for more meaningful family time that we and the boys will forever cherish.
Another vid coming soon of our other fun activities in Indy and the boys getting to ride in a combine through 75 acres of corn processing. More to come, so stay tuned now that we’ve got WiFi for a couple of days!
