No. Prefer a longer degree. If you take 1 year program then you will get 1 year work permit. You never know how much time it can take for you to receive your work permit and get PR. You can run out of time and it can be very stressful. Generally students take 2 year masters program and finish that in 16 months. For 16 months+ program you get 3 year work permit. This way they get enough time to complete the immigration processes.
The Meng is 1 year course and Msc is 16 month= 2 year so if we want to do msc because we will get 3 year work permit after btech so what reason to write in sop why msc and not Meng
To find a job as a Software Developer/Engineer in Canada, MS is not important, because most of the Canadian and US IT companies ask for either BS or MS in Computer Science or related disciplines. They value both same.
Hi Sehaj. Thanks for your feedback. I couldn't understand what difference it makes if you join a program in a particular intake or how this is important. If you could explain me the importance and how exactly we can put up this question to make the videos more valuable, then I will definitely ask that question in the upcoming videos. Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate.
@@youraverageguide Many aspirants have to visit the University websites to find whether their program of choice has their desired intake as per their schedule. Not everyone applies for fall. Some universities including western don't specify it properly and its hard to locate on their website, due to which one has to spend some time to either go through all the FAQs or peruse through each and every paragraph on the program website. Add to that, checking so many universities and the different programs.. Let me know if my point still doesn't make sense.
The program length of MSc in computer science is 4 terms. Is it a 2 years course? actually, I'm concerned about getting a 3 years work permit. Does this program fulfill the requirement to get that?
Excellent video bro , thank you. I just had one question . Is there a co-op opportunity in western for Masters in CS ?
Dear Sahil, reply for this co-op question plz
Hi Sahil, MEng ECE at Western is 3 terms (1 year) program. So is this recommended to pursue? I have 22 months of work ex.
