- Our cover of "Alleycat" from Persona 5, originally composed by Shoji Meguro, performed LIVE on Twitch as a part of our 1-Year Anniversary Stream! This arrangement done by Patrick Bartley.
Surprise! We're NOT done with Persona 5 just yet! This song we're giving you here is a song we felt perfect for this instrumentation, and it features Mr. Ben Rosenblum on the "portable organ" there, at least in this situation. We injected even more emotion into this already moody piece, and we hope you enjoy it!

Patrick's mastery of altissimo really is incredible. Just casually popping off running melodies several octaves above the top of the instrument... amazing stuff.
It's all that _Tank_ practice paying off!
lmao several octaves is an exaggeration. Highest I've heard him do is a minor 6th off the top (he might've done more tho), but the control is still un-fucking-believable. Even tho the notes themselves most decent players can also play, the way he can just do it without a second thought is among the top 3 I've ever heard and his melodic choices with those notes is the best Ive seen bar none.
edit: readability, also turns out I missed the altissimo e in this tune making the highest interval I've heard him play a minor 7th above keyed notes not minor 6th.

2 whole years almost 3 years later and a Early version of this exact track was leaked. That version played around with a Saxophone and comparing to this, the early mock up and the final track. Maybe Shoji Meguro had it right....
~I may have said this before, but I really loved this... just the smoothness of the whole set with every instrument getting a solo... so many great moments!
