When we get to Glory I'm asking God to let First Methodist of Houston perform this before the King of Kings oh I can't wait. I'm going to ask in about 75 years.
Cynthia Douglas did a such a wonderful job in her solo performance she was so amazing. Her beautiful sounding voice just blew me away. I really love her performances so much, I would pay good money to see her perform anywhere in the world. Houston's FUMC choir wouldn't be the same without her. Way to go, Cynthia! 👍👏
Excellent job by ALL The choirmaster members and musicians and Cynthia Douglas of course lf l dont hear Cynthia singing at the Pearly Gates methinks lm blessed to hear hear her you go girl choicest blessings
I used to watch this on Sunday mornings. I also feel an undeniable bond to this church. As a former Enron employee, of 19 years, enron employees went to this auditorium many times for meetings, besides Mr. Lay’s memorial service and of course our prayers after 9/11/2001. Enron would file for bankruptcy on 12/3/2001 a bit of foreshadowing. The two are tied together. Amazing, I didn’t realize these were stars but I do know how exceptional the choir, soloists, pianist and organist were.

I don't think you'll have to ask...

That my friends is WORSHIP! Thrilling arrangement, a genuine coloratura WOW!
Correct, Worship is NOT a bunch of screens that repeat the same words over & over.
Special thanks to FM Choir. I couldn’t sleep for hours while listening to your beautiful hymns. Well arranged. Sounds heavenly. God bless you all!

Oh, to have a voice like that soloist!! Does she sing with the Houston Grand Opera?
Yes
Nice arrangement can one get a copy or a name to find it
Nancy Wertsch arrangement...
Girlfriend….WOW. There are no words. Bravo.
Why doesn't Cynthia sing the consonants at 7:05? Seems like cheating...
My guess would be because it’s not easy to belt a C# on a consonant/“S” sound! 😂🤣
