Out with Equinox 800 and the 15'' Nox coil from COILTEK, Part 2 of the review, Ill be trying it out on a all different types of land, and to spend a bit of time with it before i give my final review.
i must say so far I'm really impressed with it. Hope you enjoy the video.

Hello NE Searcher...new sub here...just checking out the coiltec as ive just purchased one...(same old story..i used the Nox 15" and the lugs have snapped) not bad though 3 years use and still in warranty so will get it replaced (Joan Allen)..good to hear a NE Voice...i am from Cassop...ive been detecting in north west uk for 20 years, all the best take care or as they say up our way.."GAN CANNY YUNGUN" GL&HH Gordon "Cassop's Nox Digger"

It’s definitely opened up my permissions again. I’m going back over old ground I’ve done with a variety of detector’s and other coils. And it’s hitting on all sorts.

It still amazes me how you can go in the middle of nowhere and find coins and relics. They must of had really bad pockets back then lol.

I only seem to find junk but glass half full.may go to South Shields as got family there.good place for Roman I believe there is a Roman settlement off of ocean road!im gonna get the sp24 as better than the standard 11 inch coil.great content mate!

Yeah you’re probably better off using a smaller coil on Roman sites.
There’s usually so many targets when detecting in these sites. It would be a lot easier to pick out the good targets, for sure.
Don’t be put off mate, every one digs loads of rubbish, to get to the better finds. It’s just the nature of the hobby.
Honestly if you’d seen the amount of rubbish I dug to get those finds. Probably three pouch fulls. But you just have to get through the modern rubbish on the top. Before you can get to the older finds.
South Shields should be a great area for Roman. In fact anything could pop up. It’s got a lot of history in and around that area.

Some rally nice finds there looking at getting the 15 inch coil but they don’t come with a coil cover pricey bit of kit is there anywhere that sells it as one and not separate cheers

My 15” Coiltek coil come with the coil cover. I got mine from Crawfords Metal Detectors.

what recovery speed are you using with the 15 inch coil please; also the sensitivity for fields thanks
Hi, thank you for watching.
My recovery speed is 3 and sensitivity is 22 because the ground is pretty clear, on this field. If it’s busy like loads of iron, drop the sensitivity and up the recovery to say4 or 5. But you still have to slow down your sweep speed.
If it’s really bad. Just go with a smaller coil. Hope it helps 👍
