Brilliant John, the word you were looking for is conservation to all fish stocks, you are a legend , at least in my head and your content is the best I’ve seen. Followed you for some years now and always will. The people who watch you will be better educated for your content. Thanks.
Thanks for a reply John, yes you don't need to worry about what you do, it's perfect and educational. We all don't stay in Cornwall, I'm in 5he Clyde estuary or very close by. 50 years ago it was the mecca with famous marks like the gamtocks etc. Pretty crap for the last few decades and we get the seasonal fish etc. If you have a yaught the Clyde estuary is heaven, but if your an angler it's been crap for years. If you can tow past me to fish the Mull, I might try that coming down your way for a holiday. Take care m8 and yes although with all those subscribers you might not know, I have very recently fitted a Chinese diesel heater in my boat which is going to Loch Tay this week and it will be tried and tested. Just took it off lomond this afternoon.
Wow what fantastic pollock!!! I'm glad you released them for conservation fish stock hopefully people watching this take a page out of your book !!! Thats why this channel is the best !!! Ps try not to catch 2 at once you make the rest of us look stupid !!! Great video bud
I just love watching your program. I used to love going fishing with my husband. We went out in the boat all the time. He had a stroke and passed. I miss him terribly. I miss spending the time with him fishing. And I miss eating the fresh fish and crabs etc. nothing like fresh. I’m too old to go fishing anymore. But I love watching others fish, the tournaments etc. so much fun. It’s good to watch others have fun at it. Keep it up. I watch for you every week. You’re so blessed.
Good evening Mary, I am sorry to hear about your husband but pleased to hear that you enjoy our videos and sharing your time with us. Have a wonderful day and take care. 💙🎣
Mary, I'm a female angler in the US and I don't know where you are, but I'd get in touch with the people that your husband used to go fishing with and ask if you could just go as a passenger on the boat. Fishing really doesn't have an age limit. I hope you can find a boat to take you out!
Mary, I understand about feeling your not able, but you could perhaps off a pier. I too lost my husband. We had such good times. I moved away from the coast and only able to freshwater fish. I do not shore fish unless I have a family member with me. I am afraid I am not fast enough and being hearing impaired I would not hear the hiss of a venomous snake. So I never go alone like I used to even with snake boots, not a good ideal. I do hope you find a way like I did to still enjoy fishing from time to time.
Another enjoyable, educational & entertaining video once again John. I find your videos SO relaxing to watch, I just wish I could watch as often as I used to but a lot of time is taken looking after my wife & being disabled myself for 36 years now, it takes me a lot of time to do things. Makes it twice as good to watch a Fish Locker video when I can & I will watch them for as long as I can. Yours is the ONLY fishing channel that I have locked into my computer. Cheers to you, Hannah & all your family. Stay safe & well my friend & keep the videos rolling, they are SO good. Don from South Aust.
The more I watch your videos John, the more I like you and your ethics. Your explanation of what you take for the table and which ones you put back makes complete sense. Well done and I hope others take heed.
I haven't finished in 40 years, reason being I was catching less and less, seeing you doing your bit to conserve stocks gladens me enormously.. Total respect!
Have said it before and will say it again, you are a true fisherman with respect for the fish and the environment. I hope more people will follow-up your way of fishing. Greetz and lots of respect from Stipo from Holland
One of your best videos John , any young fishermen (person ) can learn a lot about conservation by watching you fish , how many people would have taken those beautiful fish i take take my hat off and salute you john well bloody done ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Can't get over how pretty the Rasse are. It looks they've been painted. Don't worry about the sun in the frame, it's quite nice to see it now and again. Cool vid, cheers.
What a fantastic day, you had....and giving your explanation, on what/what not to do, when catching fish and how to hold them is very encouraging to your viewers...

Great to be back on board with you Sir ! You are a great ambassador for sustainability and respect for the environment, well done and big thanks for sharing as always. Cheers, Rob.
I watch you fish and my emotions change as if I am there with you every time you catch one. I would give anything to come with you one day to fish, thank you so much for your videos
Beautiful session as always . I’m gonna share a bit of my experience fishing in the uk. I’ve fished from Ramsgate all the way down to Littlehampton and throughout this trips I’ve caught some nice fish not gonna lie until I’ve tried Cornwall. I can promise you that Cornwall is a VERY VERY special place.
Excellent session as always, I agree 100% with your take only what you need policy. I taught same to my two. I took it a step further. I allot 2 30 gallon trash bags to every trip we took fishing. If the kids wanted to go again on my next day off, they had to fill at least one of the trash bags up with trash. I wanted to teach my now grown children that it did not matter who left the trash around. It mattered more who was willing to leave a fishing spot cleaner than they got there. Best to you all.
I like your philosophy on returning the big fish with row. If we all did this in our lives, we could have a better life. Greed is a human failing. I like your vids,
So pleased with your views on conservation, it has made my day, they were both beautiful fish but to be able to catch and release after admiring them for a while makes the fishing all the more pleasurable. Thank You.
Your spot on, your so good to watch and so knowledgeable about sea fishing, take what you need without a stock fish with eggs, love it ,good man of the sea.❤

You can tell a good fisherman when he can feel the bites of a star fish and a sea cucumber.😅 I agree with you keep the smaller fish and release the big breeders, and the taste is better anyway.👍
Sea cucumber always make me laugh when you catch them. 🤣
