The clip is removable. Oh , I prefer the Victorinox pro alox over everything else you have there. The Hunter pro has a beautiful blade , the other ones don't have very nice blades IMO.

I like big knives, especially for the back pocket.

The clip is removable, as some hunters do not like cleaning inside an animal with a pocket clip to catch guts and sinew.
Victorinox knives are pinned, yes. I've never had a blade on any Vic come loose, and that's after 50 year's using their knives.
Behind the curve? That pseudo-tactical American obsession is behind the curve, as 99% of knife useage is utility, not for self-defense, or God forbid, killing.
Victorinox was criticized for 111mm knives, and 130mm knives adapted from Wenger. Yet they have settled in over time, and certainly the 111mm are good sellers and popular.
My main criticism is pricing. But these alox Hunters will be down to $80 or $70 in a few years. Like the original Hunter Pro line, which drops down to $60-$65 on the net.
Finally, it comes down to aesthetics. Many do love the alox Hunters, because they love the look and feel. That part is personal. The knife is definitely fully functional and good in the hand for many.
I own an original, and the red alox without the damn hole. And it opens one-hand by two different methods, despite no hole. I also removed the clip first thing. Just hiking and trail walking clip knives can snag and get lost easily. Clips are more urban/suburban suitable.
All this just my view, but a half-century old view.
Cheers and thanks for the review.

Good review and knife. Big huh? I wish the cross was red. I agree with you about sticking with what they do. I have a Byrd Cara Cara it’s big like this.
This is ok but I don’t want one lol

Thanks. :) It would look better with a red cross or a little more color somewhere on the scales.
