I dunno cause there’s nothing really different between Mac garageband and any other DAW. It’s extremely impressive, but not because it’s in garageband.
@@ireadysucks3026you can’t change tempos in GarageBand you can only stay in the same tempo but move the notes ever so slightly every time to make it faster, I don’t wanna mansplain music but it’s probably been hell to make sure everything stays in sync
Excellent rendition! It's the closest cover I've ever heard till now. This is from Wikipedia: "For example, in the piece "Can You Hear the Music", he employed 21 tempo changes-a large feat for a live orchestra. Originally, Göransson called it "unplayable" and planned to record the song bar-by-bar, but his wife encouraged him to record the song in one take. After much experimentation, the music team achieved this by playing a click into the musicians' headphones before every tempo change. This piece alone took three days to record."
This is insane, holy gosh. For any non-musician if there are any watching. The depth of the sound is what is most impressive. No matter how much money you spend on vsts, creating something that is as full as this is a feat on its own.
@@Jerryleedlelee I don't know, I just never used it myself and kind of thought of it as an app that's only able to create the most simple instrument sounds, unlike what the videos shows

this is fucking phenomenal. as a diehard garageband defender and lover as well as someone who's really trying to buckle down and get right with composing and arrangements, this is just a feat that only makes me wanna learn how to even more than before. are all of these orchestral kits built in with the program, or are they third party orchestra instruments? cuz ive definitely used my share of garagebands stock orchestral parts, and they have NEVER sounded this amazing LMAO. once again, absolutely amazing job and thank you for posting this. much love
Fantastic job. I’ve done this with MUCH more simplified orchestral scores and it was fairly grueling. To do that with a track this complex with tempo and rhythm and dynamics is absolutely impressive.
I don’t think people realise how impressive this is that you did this in GarageBand, probably with very limited plugins if any. And it sounded great. Hats off to you
This is absolutely incredible! Very inspiring for people who have only got stock Garage Band samples. Would love to see your breakdown of this, how you created the synth sounds and why you layered cetain instruments together
This is unreal how good this is, very well done on recreating this! I’m sure others have probably noticed this before, but visually seeing the synths speeding up really drives the idea of the accelerating chain reaction that takes place in the bombs
The amount of bars, the amount of hours that has worked into this. I’m 14 and I can’t believe someone poured so much time into MOBILE garageband to make such a masterpiece. Absolute Respect
My god. I've scored a couple of short films and have been recording music in Logic for over a decade. Witnessing something of this magnitude, sounding so impressive in Garageband was truly inspiring.
Marvelous work!!! This truly does sound like the originial and I'm sure will lead as an inspiration to many beginner composers who think they need big expensive equipment and software! The fact that THIS was made in GarageBand is truly incredible and I applaud you!
Its weird that in your previous videos there was always a tiny mistake but in this one where mistakes are inevitable , it was just perfect. You surely has evolved over the period of 8 years on youtube. ❤
Holy crap!!! This sounds exactly like the original! I'd love to look into the actual notes and try analyzing some of it. Are you able to share the midi file? I would greatly appreciate it if you can. Thank you!
Holy mother of God... An incredible job... This is a really hard piece to recreate, the continuously increasing tempo and addition of new elements after every going second... Brilliant 👌
I’ve never heard of such a music cover that is similar this much. This is literally incredible. I want to applaud for the talent and effort of this youtuber.
Wow. Very impressive. Garageband is so limited compared to Logic Pro X. I'm sure it must have taken longer to work on this without all the really helpful features that Logic Pro X has, compared to if you used Logic Pro X. I am amazed that you did this in Garageband. A really great cover too. You did such a good job on this.
I can;t imagine how hard it was to make a cover like this in GarageBand. Huge respect.
just comes to show it doesnt matter about equipment, it matters how good you are

What a great wife, pushing her husband to do the seemingly impossible
We all need o wife like that.

this confuses me, recording orchestras already have had clicks in their ears for every film score for several decades

And it is basically 100% accurate to the original.
The time signature jumps in this must've made this a bit tricky lol
Exactly what I was thinking (specially the "pizzicato" synth part)
I got chills when the french horns kicked in.
