Then it is like she is remembering promises she made to the group to not end her life. To only let the tears fall. No matter how hard her life and depression gets to not let go and that she can always lean on them. It's like she is repeating it back to them so they know she will be there for them 100% like they were for her. They all sound so heartbroken. CL keeps looking at the pictures like "These were my girls. This was our group. All of OUR GREATEST memories" Minzy showing up in every memory is heartbreaking especially since she was not able to be in the song. The end scene with CL sitting, looking at Bom and Dara laying on her lap was so symbolic. CL was the mommy of the group and she is looking over her babies until the very end. Ugh and the final word she says is "Goodbye" and the music ends. That is the SADDEST thing EVER. It's like "Annyeong" then it is all over. 7 years together is just...over. 7 years of memories. These queens have been with me ever since I got into k-pop. They have been with everyone. To see such a magnificent group end is so terrible. But to look at the brighter side of things.... I really hope Bom can get proper help for her mental illness and eventually can continue with what she loves. I hope CL still slays and makes it in the US. I hope Minzy does well with her new label. I hope Dara will get a HUGE spotlight some day and finally see how talented she truly is. I do hope to see a reunion, not a music comeback, but a reunion of the four meeting again someday like old times. I wish CL, Bom, Minzy, and Dara all the happiness in the world. now knowing this was a song CL wrote for Minzy after her leaving makes more sense and that much more sad. She says you know that spring (Korean word bom) will return when winter passes. I think she was referring to how they were planning on coming back this year after winter when Bom returns from her hiatus. There's also a line where she says Don't be fooled, don't give into the temptations. I think she was referring to when her contract ended she was testing the free agency to see who could offer the best opportunities, and CL is telling her they're just feeding you lies to leave YG to come to their agency. A Tribe Called Quest Jurassic 5 Blackstreet Jodeci Linkin Park Gorillaz Bell Biv Devoe (Started out as New Edition as 5 people but had much more banging songs when it was just 3 of them in that group) That's just to name a few, I don't follow mainstream hip-hop as much as I used to but I noticed rap groups aren't much of a thing anymore. Factions are the thing now like representing labels like MMG, Young Money/Cash Money, Good Music Inc. A lot has changed from the 90's-00's to now.
That's so true... when groups usually split, they just split but these girls wanted to put out their last song as a group to their fans. There were multiple reasons actually. Their company was already doubting their abilities since they were getting older (That's what I've heard). It got worst when one member had an old scandal resurface and another member decided to leave the group. There's actually suppose to be 4 girls but the short haired girl left the company before they officially disbanded. It just sucks cause their leader, "CL" was pushing into the American market so she could bring the girls with her to the US (Since they were getting too old for Korea.) while she was in the U.S she even made a bunch of songs and went back to Korea for the girls to record. They recorded an album but it was scrapped after everything happened esp after one member left, the company decided they were done. Yeah, I feel like underground hiphop is way better than mainstream hiphop now. So many things have changed esp in the US.
When I first found Kpop was from a computer commercial. With their song in it. 2NE1 was the first group I enjoyed until I stepped into BTS, EXO, SISTAR, etc.
I discovered KPOP in February 2023. Frist a ,minor group TREN-D, the Blackpink, and finallly 2NE1. I am now a committed Blackjacck and DARAling. Goodbye always brings tears to my eyes. I will share this thought: 2NE1 is greater than the sum of its members. Together they are unique.
2NE1 will always have a special place in my heart, along with Bigbang they were pretty much thee girl group I first heard when I was introduced to Kpop although I became a VIP fan I gave respect to the Blackjacks and the talented Cool beauty's of 2NE1...I know they will be sadly missed and I wish each of them happiness and blessings into the future!!!

From what I know (There's more to it but I'll make it short) Their company was already wanting to disband them cause they were getting too old for Korea so their leader "CL" tried to push through the US market and bring the girls with her. Puddie Su it's such a long unfair story 😢 they didn't deserve this, 2ne1 was one of the group's that paved the way for Kpop and they became legend & like the best Kpop group. Life is so unfair, innocent people are hurt 💔
Their company decided it was time to disband them. So many things happened and everything just fell apart but the girls still all love and care about each other.
From what I know (There's more to it but I'll make it short) Their company was already wanting to disband them cause they were getting too old for Korea so their leader "CL" tried to push through the US market and bring the girls with her. While this was happening, one of the members had an older scandal resurface and it damaged her health wise while another decided to leave the group. What sucks is that CL created all these songs and they even recorded them and had an album ready. It was scrapped by the company esp after one member decided to leave the group.. in the end, they disbanded them even though they didn't want to.

It is.. as for people reacting to it, I see it in a positive way esp since it could bring more people in to watch their original video. The only ones I don't like reacting are those who don't genuinely care about KPOP and are really in it for views. I will continue to carry this KPOP wagon and hope for everyone to hop on it lol
