The B Rolls are absolutely stunning bro ❤

Great video. You got a sub and a thumbs up from me. FYI the pads on the TC are the new Ported Bass Pads. The notches on the side are what gives it away. Try those pads on the V2’s and the bass gets better 🤙🏼

I appreciate this straight forward review. Looking at thier website right now, the price difference is "only" $1,000 between the two ($3,500 versus $4,500 with standard cable). I would probably go for the maximum information retrieval, perfectly flat tonal balance, and accuracy of the TC, although I can certainly see why a headphone that "makes everything sound good" as you comment in this review, yet is more detailed and beter controlled than almost any other headphone, has great appeal as well.

Subscriber here! Awesome review and comparison with top notch B rolls and delivery of the information. Thank you!
I don’t need to sell my Diana V2 then. I needed this truly honest review to bring me back to reality from all the hype that other reviewers make.
Q: do the XI audio broadway is really a “game changer” for the V2? Or should I just be happy with my THX Dacamp?
I was curious about the super conductor as well but I would never buy a cable for $2000. Again, a Genelec 8331 is priced around the price of that cable and there is no way to justify it.
A sticker on the box! That’s so cheap. Actually, I bought the new pads at their expensive cost of $250 and I thought they were not well glued into the plastic/magnet. So, now I see the sticker and I guess I should not be surprised. I respect Abyss as a company and I enjoy the sound of the V2 but, those type of manufacturing behaviors are too low for an “American” company.
Thank you very much for this luxurious review! I hope you get many likes and subs!

The amp wasn’t a game changer. Very subtle difference to using a topping A90.

Great review! This is the review I have been waiting for (Abyss Diana V2 vs Diana TC). I’m somewhat of a treble head. I was wondering if the Diana TC has more sparkle than the Diana V2. I currently own the Diana V2. Lately I have been considering selling the V2 because the treble seems slightly rolled off. Another thing that bothers me about the V2 is sometimes the midrange sounds kind of wonky. I think around the 1K region. Just wondering if the TC mids also sound kind of wonky.

Maybe not a direct answer to your question, but when I'm editing videos I've had problems using the V2s as it smooths everything over, basically everything sounds ok.
Using the TCs on a few videos now I've found pinpointing harsh frequencies in the 1k-2k range a lot easier since it's so unforgiving.
I feel Josh Valour's and MrAyrit's videos give a better audiophile perspective on the treble.

What gear do you use/used? I have the V2 and when i was using A90+E50 combo, I thought that okay, i need to sell these, not good. High end was fatigueing, and well super analytical and detailed but boring. Then i swapped to Singxer SA-1, and it was a major improvement, bass came to life, A90 has more impact maybe but SA-1 hit better. Then i got the RME-ADI dac , and it improved the quality more, before these were analytical and dry now musical and i smiled when i listened to songs again :) (for bass comparisons i use Deadmau5 - Cepheid, and Infected Mushrooms-Guitarmass.) Ori will of the wisp ost brings shivers now, not before.

@@NoVoiOvi I started with the D90/A90 combo, then went to the D90/XI Broadway combo. I've been pretty happy and have dumped a bit too much money at this point, so going to stay with what I have.

@@soulfulfool hmm, I don't think that's exactly the point, and I don't even consider myself rich, it's just that music is one thing I don't mind spending a little more than common sense would dictate if it allows me to have a better experience ("""imo""" it is still much more sensible, financially speaking, than a lot of other hobbies).
