Il bianco splendente della sabbia si spalancherà davanti a te all’improvviso dopo una lunga strada incorniciata da ginepri, pini e lecci. La sensazione è di un luogo fuori dal mondo, in realtà esiste, eccome, è l’oasi di Bidderosa: cinque calette da sogno custodite in un parco di 860 ettari, in gran parte formato da boschi e macchia mediterranea, protetti dall’Ente Foreste e affidati al Comune di Orosei, da cui dista 13 chilometri a nord. L’ingresso in auto e moto è a numero chiuso da maggio a fine ottobre. In bici o a piedi non c’è limite stagionale, ma si deve rispettare un regolamento per preservare questo angolo di quiete immerso nel verde. Con un’escursione di trekking ti immergerai totalmente nella riserva: ammirerai il rincorrersi di verde, artistici rilievi di granito, ginepri secolari adagiati su litorali candidi. Oppure potrai arrivarci a nuoto attraverso il breve tratto di mare dalla confinante (a sud) cala Ginepro: con la bassa marea, l’acqua è alta un metro. La prima spiaggia dell’oasi è a quattro chilometri dall’ingresso, via via troverai le altre quattro, tutte lunghe circa un chilometro, sino al confine settentrionale rappresentato da un altro paradiso da cartolina: la splendida spiaggia di Bèrchida, nel territorio di Siniscola.

The shining white of the sand will suddenly open in front of you after a long road framed by junipers, pines and holm oaks. The feeling is of a place out of this world, in reality it exists, and how, it is the Bidderosa oasis: five dream coves guarded in a park of 860 hectares, largely formed by woods and Mediterranean scrub, protected by the Forestry Authority and entrusted to the Municipality of Orosei, from which it is 13 kilometers to the north. Entry by car and motorbike is limited from May to the end of October. By bike or on foot there is no seasonal limit, but a regulation must be respected to preserve this quiet corner surrounded by greenery. With a trekking excursion you will totally immerse yourself in the reserve: you will admire the chasing of greenery, artistic granite reliefs, centuries-old junipers lying on white coasts. Or you can get there by swimming across the short stretch of sea from the bordering (to the south) cala Ginepro: at low tide, the water is one meter high. The first beach of the oasis is four kilometers from the entrance, gradually you will find the other four, all about one kilometer long, up to the northern border represented by another postcard paradise: the splendid beach of Bèrchida, in the territory of Siniscola.
