The common theory is that all the yyxy members are one girl! That’s why their symbol is a DNA thingy. And that’s why the other video is called One. Each girl represents a different emotion and a common theme is self love. Also you talked about more lore videos! I’d definitely recommend checking out the teasers for butterfly (yes all of them!) they’re really cinematic and just... ahhh give me chills. The teasers for so what are also really good!
Absolutely! The video has 2 meanings. One takes place in Eden and forwards that storyline. The other "stand alone" meaning is that there is only Olivia in the MV, and the other girls are just parts of her personality (The "one" video labels them like this: Yves=Faith, Chuu=Love, GoWon=Hope, Olivia=Anger). BBC even told us that YYXY would show us the parts that make up a personality and that they were "4 personalities, 1 Girl". So at the end when the camera cuts from YYXY to the teacher and then back to only Olivia, that's because it was just her standing there the whole time, and the "one" video is really just Olivia walking through the mansion :)...

So here's where the lore gets the weirdest and is a bit harder to explain. Eden and God are represented by a strict school which aims for perfection with an equally strict headmistress. The two main theories I know is that A) Yves begins to rebel against God in the Garden of Eden by eating her forbidden fruit -the apple in order to make her own path and her own choices (Which is 'New'). Chuu who is in love with Yves, doesn't get noticed by her until she too begins to question God and Eden by eating her forbbidden fruit - the strawberry ('Heart Attack'). Next Gowon is pressured by the other two but after deciding that loving herself is more important than anything Eden can offer, she eats her own forbidden fruit - the pineapple ('One and Only'). All of these solo videos are shown in the order they happened in during Love4eva by each one sneaking off and joining their own rebellious group. Olivia however is the only one who clings to Eden's teachings and does what God says which makes her ostracised from the group. Either they think that Olivia is telling on them to God or that she can't be trusted. So they go on and escape from Eden without her and find their way through the forest and emerge on the other side. Olivia following them gets lost because she hasn't eaten her forbidden fruit - the blood plum. Them eating the rose was just symbolising how they've all eaten their fruits so they can leave Eden freely. So Olivia is left abandoned and angry and lost. Which then leads into Egoist.
Olivia's anger at being forsaken by Yves and the rest means she'll learn to love herself.
However another theory, and probably the right one, is that YYXY is one person. It's why when all of the jump cuts happen in the dance break, there's only Olivia dancing by herself. Similarly it explains the mirror in the One trailer. They are all one girl but each member represents a different emotion and their songs all stem from their specific emotion. Yves is the first to leave and she represents faith. Faith in God and what God's teachings are. When she is singing in New, she's singing about having faith in herself and her choices. Chuu represents love. Love for another, love for yourself. In Heart Attack, clearly her love is for Yves and how much Yves means to her. Gowon represents hope. In One and Only, Gowon's love of herself gives her hope that she can achieve anything without needing anyone else. Which is why she's the one who hesitates before leaving. Without faith, love and hope, only anger is left. That's why Olivia is on her own at the end. All she has is anger. She's angry at God for their rules. She's angry at Eden for its taboos. So when we reach Egoist, Olivia's love of herself is born from the anger she has against Eden and God but also herself for losing everything else. That's why YYXY's symbol is a DNA code, they are one person, each one part of the genetic makeup of the whole.
TLDR: I'm probably wrong, BBC did some shit and they have a really interesting lore that we barely agree on. Either way, hello! finally introducing LOONA! Are you girls ready? Ok let's go!
also this mv is representative of all their individual storylines interacting!! yves is the first to leave eden, chuu follows her, they convince go won to leave, and then olivia hye is left behind. with the roses, yves and chuu's representative fruits are both from the rose family so it represents them eating their forbidden fruit !!
for the lore video, the entire thing is reinforcing what the last part of love4eva shows -- yyxy represent different elements of the same person. they are one person, but fragmented

In my vision "one" teaser is their "creation/beginning", they are descovering the place they just woke up. We start with Yves, she is the "Faith" then Chuu, she is the "Love", them GoWon, she is the "Hope" (and for me she's the one that is super important) and in the end, Olivia Hye, the "Anger".
All of them makes "one" being, that's why every time we see a different member where the last one were. (there's a theory that they split out to learn things, that's why they are dancing, "studing" etc, before they transform into one person again)
Now, if remember correctly, YYXY the "X" is represented by Gowon, and in the logo, the X is the one that links the last "Y" with the other "YY", and in "love4eva" mv, Gowon is the only one who looks to Olivia meanwhile YvesChuu doesn't bother.
Gowon is very particular member because she's the one that doesn't eat Yves apple (or i don't recall). Chuu does anything Yves wants because she is in "Love" but Gowon does because she wants to and for me she's always been worried about Olivia.
All YYXY solos occurs in the love4eva, Yves "New" is when she starts to leave Eden secretly, Chuu's "Heart Attack" is just after, Gowon "One&Only" is when she joins them both (in the Gowon's MV in the end, Yves, Chuu and her are running in the yellow outfit) and Olivia's "Egoistic" is when she is in the woods, alone, she follow them, gets out of Eden and fall in the basement in her MV.
She's "Angry" because they leave her behind, if they are a "one" being, they're not suppose to do that with each other and them she starts to love herself as if she realise she doesn't need "fixing" for being the one left out.

"Love4eva" is a prequel to the yyxy solos, they are in the Garden of Eden, and the lady/teacher being strict represent how perfect Garden of Eden is.. Yves finally wants to rebel and doesn't want to accept the fate of Eden, so Yves persuade Chuu to join her (as you can see Yves peeking behind the lady/teacher, and signal Chuu to follow her), Chuu deciding to follow Yves is a reference to "Heart Attack" mv where Chuu kept trying to be like Yves).. then Yves and Chuu succeeded to convinced Gowon to join, (Gowon joining Yves and Chuu is also a reference to the "One & Only" mv where Yves and Chuu kept on chasing Gowon).. so together they went out and run into the woods to escape.. But Olivia, she is the "goody two shoes" of the bunch.. Notice how Olivia never got scold by the lady? Because she's always follow the rules.. So that's why Yves and the others are treating Olivia oddly and kept bullying her just because she's the only one that's a "good girl".. So when Yves and the others escape, you can see Olivia in anger(hence the red light) on how the other girls treat her and left her behind.. All Olivia wanted was to be friends with them but they rejected her.. But slowly, Olivia escaped to find her own identity after being abandoned by the others(hence the song "Egoist," where she sang "From now on
I’ll love myself, Instead of you, I’ll live on" and "Love myself today, let you go today").. when the song ended, you can see it went from 4 members to only 1, which is Olivia.. So basically "Love4eva" is a story before they left Eden

in the "one" teaser/video had four words that represented the girls resectively; yves as the "faith/fate" girl as she challenged the fate god has planned for her by rebelling first and eating the apple, chuu as the "love" girl as she's so blind in love for yves that she'd do everything for her even partaking of her fruit and rebelling as well, gowon as the "hope" girl as her rebellion symbolyzed a new hope for her own self and the one who hesitated to rebel as she didn't want to forsake olivia, and olivia as the "anger" girl as she's angry because she didn't want to follow yves' plan to rebel and escape, and because of her hesitance, yves let her go and she got left alone in eden so she gets angry and soon after, escaped as well. this was emphasized in her egoist mv where she burns everything that reminded of the three girls' betrayal to her, especially yves (with how she burnt that cygnet plushie, the casette, and the clueless uniform). this also seems to foreshadow olivia's motivation of burning the moon on the so what mv.
My theory in the “one” teaser is that faith, love, hope, and anger represents each girl’s reason for why they took a bite of the fruit. Idk for what faith or hope Yves and Gowon took a bite of their fruits, but we know Chuu took a bite because of her love for Yves and that Olivia took a bite because of her anger towards Yves.

: yves being faith (having faith in herself, being independent and leaving the garden of eden) chuu being love (as you can see she has a very big crush on yves, no homo tho pfft) go won being hope (idk fully why she is hope but it has to do with the fact that in the end she does get crowned queen by yves) and olivia being anger (angry that she was left out to the point of burning everything) and speaking of oliver, she is Lucifer who fell from the sky, a fallen angel who burned their wings
According to the members the sub-unit name yyxy relates to the chromosomes of a third kind of human, instead of just having either XX or XY chromosomes they have XXYX chromosomes. So you can basically understand yyxy as being four parts of one super-human being residing in Eden, the third world of the loonaverse. Those four parts representing Faith (Yves), Love (Chuu), Hope (Gowon) and Anger (Olivia). They all live under the watchful eyes of that God person of theirs (I think they very consciously chose "God person" instead of simply God, cause in the English language that would typically be associated with the Christian God and despite all the biblical references I don't think that's what they're going for). And the setting that represents Eden, this castle, is quite obviously a boarding school (they wear school uniforms, they have a headmistress representing this God person and they're also taught). And there's one rule: don't eat from the forbidden fruit and of course Yves does exactly that. The interesting question is: Why does Yves eat from the fruit? In new we have the lyrics "Willing to get closer to the sun/ Flapping of the burnt wings". This is typically understood as a reference to Icarus who attempted to escape prison on wings made of feathers and wax and in his hubris flew too high and came too close to the warm sun, leading to his wings melting and him falling to death in the ocean below. And actually there is a painting of Icarus falling from the sky hanging in this castle and visible in a section or two of the video. Point being Yves' faith in this God person turns into faith in herself so far that she becomes cocky and breaks the only rule: eating the forbidden fruit which according to the bible comes from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. So it stands to reason that she now knows, and she knows too much. She knows what or who is good and evil and realizes that she has to leave Eden. She makes an (or multiple?) attempts to escape throughout the video (2:51; 2:59) and gets caught by the headmistress (3:04) who scolds all four of them (3:09). Chuu (representing Love) is well aware of all this since she keeps a close eye on Yves (remember Heart Attack?) and finally in order to gain Yves attention/affection also eats from the forbidden fruit and gains knowledge that seemingly also convinces her to come with Yves. And in one&only both convince Gowon to also eat from the forbidden fruit. And in the end they all leave Eden leaving only Olivia (Anger) behind. So, with faith, love and hope all gone Olivia is only left with anger and well... she gets angry, as can be seen later on in Egoist (which is set after love4eva, while new, Heart Attack and one&only are all during their time in Eden and before/during/after escaping... maybe. The more I think about it the less certain I get about it and there isn’t really one generally accepted timeline. Main point is: Olivia gets mad after they leave and we can see her being mad in Egoist). Now the big final question that remains is: What knowledge about good and evil did they acquire by eating the forbidden fruit, and since they’re clearly the good guys (or not?) who or what is the evil and what about that knowledge so convincing that it convinces three different people (that are actually one human entity), in three different instances that they absolutely have to leave Eden?
Ohhh boy there's a lot going on in this one! 😆 OK, so timeline-wise, "love4eva" takes place after Yves, Chuu, and Gowon's solos, but before Olivia's. Yves decides she's had enough with Eden and starts rebelling, Chuu follows her, and they both convince Gowon to join them. Because Olivia hadn't rejected Eden at this point (aka she hadn't reached self-enlightenment), they alienated her and abandoned her in Eden. Gowon was the only one to look back at Olivia because she still cares about her, and it's only after they left her alone that she tries to follow them.
As for "one", this ties into the popular theory that the four girls are all one person (that one person being Olivia), but I see it more symbolic of the connection all four girls share. We also see they each have an emotion representing them and it ties into each of their solos. Yves is faith (she decided to have faith in herself after rejecting Eden), Chuu is love (later changes to hope, as she constantly pines for Yves' attention in hopes of getting closer to her), Gowon is hope (later changes to love, because she learns to love herself, as her "one and only"; also the line "I don't need no garden of Eden" is from her song, not Olivia's), and Olivia is anger (due to her anger for being left behind, but learns to eventually let go of her anger and start loving herself). The phrase at the end means "I am you, you are me"; we all may be different, but in the end, we're the same.
So excited for the next reactions, now that we'll be getting to the full group MVs! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Best guesses: Olivia is angry at being left out/behind - as in the end with our Baby Wolf being lost in the woods. And all because she didn't want to eat her apple/blood plum/rose - possibly because she feared the consequences?

Ik this is super late but I wanna explain bc why not- in their separate music videos (yves chuu and gowon) they all partake of a fruit that will let them escape (like fruit of knowledge) and they're transported to a place outside. That's why Olivia is there, but can't find gowon yves or chuu. She gets angry and burns it down. When seeing yves in hi high, knowing they can be reunited, she takes a leap of faith and bites the blood plum, allowing her to escape.

Ah, and the lore is REAL deep, lemme tell you.
Just a couple things:
- Yeah, for some reason Chuu has a green apple, the other two (Gowon and Yves have red) and Olivia DOESN'T have an apple. I still don't know why she has a green apple tbh, some people think it's representative of envy (green with envy) but I don't see it.
- There's also the motif in the mv that the ones who run away don't have their shoes on (during the dance break, you can see them all shoeless with dirty socks from walking around in the forest)
There's sort of this underlying theme of conformity that they seem to be breaking away from (Gowon, Chuu and Yves). So, in the beginning we see how strict their lifestyle is-- the teacher is constantly trying to keep them in check. And Yves is the one to break the cycle.
There's a lot more to the mv, but I thought I'd mention some stuff.

YYXY doesn't really exist. Yves, Chuu and GoWon are all separate personalities inside Olivia's head. That's why in the Love4Eva video, you see Oliva separate from the other 3. The building that they are in is a mental hospital. At the end of the video Olivia is standing in front of they psychologist alone, because the other 3 are just in her head. That's why the 2nd video is named "one" because there's only 1 person. Even the YYXY logo is a single DNA. She looks in the the mirror and see's all of her personalities. And in Olivia's solo music video, you can see her "separate personalities" following her.
