I use Seer as a rescuer because camping hunters are my best friends (farming owls) 😏 I always do the second rescue... I always go by Tide Turner with him and that's kinda hard for me to kite because of 'Taxing' he has a debuff every usage of owl... I just make sure that I don't kite early every match
I think it’s okay to carry Tide with him because of his trait that allows him to see the Hunter at the start of a match.
It helps him know where and when to rotate, usually helping him decrease his chances of being the first kite.
BUT if you DO get found first whilst carrying Tide instead of BW, gg’s… your kite will for sure be shorter. Unless your a god and perfectly time every owl.

Thankyou so much!! I thought everyone had great control over the camera button to kite while looking backwards. I’m gonna struggle with coordinating my movements.... and memorizing the whole map thing...... but thankyou for the tip qwq. Seeing the directions of the joystick also rlly helped.

I was really intimidated to play seer so this video help me and reassured me so thank you from the bottom of my heart
Thank you for this guide. I love Eli and he is the first survivor I bought. At first I was so bad at using him that my teammates told me to change, but after learning from all of your kiting videos and practicing for about three days now I can kite at around 100-170 seconds. Now I don't feel guilty using him again, since I can help my teammates rescues our decoder with my owl (I thought the owl's name is Popo from fanarts I saw, but now the name stuck lol it's cute tho) and even become the main kiter to so our Luca can decode in peace ✌ the moment when you call the owl just in time to block the hunter's hit is so satisfying.
I was going to quit IDV but these kiting videos made me hype up and keep playing the game.... wellllll now the ping issue got worse for some reason and i cant even move early in the game it takes forever to throw down pallets i have to click at least 5-6 times it makes me so sad i really wanna play the game but ping sucks ughh when will they try to fix iiit.....
hello! I might know the solution for your problem
some ping problems happen because of the server! for example, I'm in Asia, and I should play on the Asia server for good ping. if I play on NA/EU, my ping will be high, so if you try changing server, it might help!
i swear to god, i really have a bad kiting. i have to watch your videos repetitively bc my brain is kinda bad at memorization. i feel like i kinda improved a bit. i am transitioning from not able to kite for 10secs 😭 this game made a thank you, a mock but my "thank you" to you is genuine. i know i have a long way to go to have a good kiting.a so please make more videos about kiting routine and countering different hunters. thank you again! i hope i get to play with you even when i am really a bad kiter.

if the hunter didn't hit the owl, your vaulting speed won't decrease! I've tested this in custom mode

ANOTHER IMPORTANT TIP FOR KITERS(or any fast-vault survivor):
If you vault a window and the hunter is directly behind you while kiting, go LEFT or RIGHT.
You will get Terror Shocked if you go straight.

Are my teammates just always bad? I do the eight-second trick all the time and all my teammates die before I owl, I can't tell if I'm doing a bad job as a seer or my teammates are poor kiters. I can't even rely on my team's mercenary because she refuses to kite or save and instead decodes the entire match unless you bring the hunter after her, she refuses to play a decoder so I never know what to do. I usually end up playing any rescue character available to try and help the team, but no one else is the kiter so that's my job too, at the rate I'm going I won't be able to play seer if I want my team to win...Does anyone know how I can get past this problem?
You are fine, your teammates are bad, thats all. I hope one day you can come across some good teammates!

For me Seer build would be like bw bt and horse fly effect for his pallet throwing speed after using an owl it's verry effective for kiting

I run Tide on Seer and I still make 5 cipher kites just because I use the rest of my points to go into Knee Jerk Reflex maxed out, then my left over 10 points I run the self rez persona

you know you can remove that small camera button in settings right? it's called global camera. idk if you knew this but if it messes you up then you can just change it. you probably have it because you may have accidentally clicked it in your settings which has happened to me a lot

I have seen that some seers use certain messages to inform their teammates who the hunter is at the beginning of the game. Does anyone know what those messages are and which hunters they are used with?
