I've had Bettie bangs for almost 20 years, and I'm always looking for ways to improve the trimming process. FINALLY- a video that adresses the dreaded wave in the middle of the bangs! I use the rounded brush to dry them, and a flat iron to straighten them, but I never thought about parting them into top and bottom sections. Thank you for this! Best video on Bettie bangs ever!

do you recommend bettie bangs for fine curly hair ? my bangs fight me lol. I struggle with keeping them styled. Tried pomade but my bangs get gross. and my bangs get messed up easily when its windy. any tips?
Hi Daisy, I would recommend a few things. Make sure you have a triangle from the scalp to the front of your forehead so there is enough bang to work with. If the bang is still thin, you have to take more care in trimming because it shows easily on thinner hair. Use pro scissors you can get a pair from Sally's or any beauty supply. Comb straight and create your shape starting little by little so you don't cut too much off at once. Don't use pomade on bangs! it will make them gooey and you will lose their shape. Keep them dry and cut them dry if you can. I only use water when the bang is very long and I need to tame it. Since your hair is fine and curly you could dampen the bang sightly. Straighten the bangs before wetting to make sure you get a clean cut and the hair is as straight as possible before cutting. To style, the bangs carry a small comb Lol seriously I do! I only put a light hairspray across the bangs to hold them in place. My latest video has the spray I use, a humidity spray. It's not sticky but light and sprays lightly, too much causes cakey hair. Once again make sure your hair is further back so you have enough hair to make a good bang. I hope that helps? Thanks for viewing :) If you have more questions let me know. Practice makes purrrfect 🤩 Its all about finding what works for you. I was so nervous when I first tried cutting my hair. My breaking point that pushed me to take charge of my head... I was so fed up with stylists who did it wrong and gave me old lady bangs lol Thank you for the sweet words. 💝
I want Bettie bangs so bad but i wont go to a stylist because they mess up my hair every time. So I'm trying to watch as many videos I can and do them myself lol

One of the fallen hairs went into my eye once because i didnt clean it off right away... and it felt like glass... PAIN!
