      Thank you! That would be an excellent video topic all by itself. I will add that to my filming list.

      Thanks! And thanks for the nail tip! I will try it. It wasn’t Etsy though 🙃 I’m going to film a separate video about how my February goals turned out. It was too much to put all in one video. Stay tuned!!!

    Filll a bowl with a few inches of coconut oil or castor/ olive oil ( preferrably the coconut oil tho) and soak your nails for 10 mins. im thinking you could save the oil afterwards its own labelled container and repeat process again in a few days... its fantastic for strengthening nails and for your skin. 😎👍🏻

    What planner is that? How do you put the holes on the envelopes so you can put them in your planner?

      The envelopes you ordered don’t have it but I make them with a 1/2” of laminate and have a small 6 hole punch I use to put the holes in them. It is one from Hobby Lobby. I paid $7 for it on sale! It is the same size as a Filofax Personal size but it is MUCH cheaper!

    What do you use your oops envelope for?

    • @LininUpDucks
      @LininUpDucks  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! It goes in my wallet (and my husband has one too) and that is for times when I’m out and remember I need diapers or milk and don’t have those envelopes. I spend the money out of the oops envelope and replenish it when I get home. It is a little extra insurance that I don’t pull out my debit card.

    I thought drill was only once a month? Why does he get paid twice a month for it? Thanks

    • @LininUpDucks
      @LininUpDucks  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Thanks for watching! Well it could be one of two things...he has been taking on extra duty since we are in serious savings mode. It is either that or sometimes his drill period and pay dates end up in deferent months depending on how quickly they pay him.

    Came across this video a bit randomly looking at finance info. This lifestyle is just so foreign to me I honestly don't understand what you are doing. Why you are stuffing cash into envelopes, writing a budget with a pen and paper into a notebook, seemingly having your entire income as cash and your savings also as cash in an unsecured uninsured location. I mean I think I get what you are doing but it is just such a different outlook on life and how to budget that it just seems alien. Like you don't seem protected at all with this approach. I don't see any insurance on your list of expenses, all your money is in literal cash not invested, not in a bank...just sitting there. Is this not asking for trouble? Should you not just have your money in a bank and budget electronically with a debit card or a credit card? Should you not spend some of your money in protecting your assets? This strikes me as focusing so much on saving money you neglect to protect your money.

      So many questions… I will try to answer as many as I can but feel free to reach out to me if you have more. When I found this video we were saving for a short term goal that was a very expensive goal. We were saving For an RV for our family to move into so we could live mortgage free for a time. We did not keep that much cash on hand at our home once we hit a certain amount it will be deposited into the bank. One of the reasons I choose to cash budget is I have ADHD and find that I am much more disciplined with actual cash for spending purposes than with numbers on an app or in a bank account. All of our bills are paid through a bank account and automatic drafted so I do not have to think about them. We have a month ahead fund so I don’t have to worry about the timing of when our paychecks come in versus when our bills are due. So we don’t do 100% cash although some cash budget is do. The reason you do not see insurance is it was automatically deposited out of my ex-husband’s check every pay period.
