Only us old knife fellers get excited about a rusty knife huh Tom?! I was wondering about then little cloths you use, now I know. Thanks for taking us shopping with you. Have a blessed Sunday.
I have been shopping at Mills Fleet Farm for over 30 years. A common saying in the area is: "If Fleet Farm doesn't have it, you don't need it!" With all those supplies - happy cleaning!
Boy those 3 rusty beauties probably made you giddy with cleanup glee! Turn them into happy knives Tom! 👍 And thanks for the walk through Fleet Farm. Prices sure aren’t what they used to be! 😳😳 Have a blessed Sunday evening. Cheers, Dubya
I decided the subscribe because I share your interest in restoring project knives! High quality & low price in contrast to lots of expensive modern junk! Blessings! The Old Preacher
Thanks for the sub, Preacher! Welcome Aboard to the Knife Delights family. Feel free to check out my playlists where I have lots of videos on vintage knives. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Hello Tom…. I’ve been working on knives for 60 years and I’m always looking for new ideas. I recently tried a cleaner called “The Pink Stuff”. It’s like it sounds… a pink paste that really cleans the metal. I use our household’s wooden 10:4710:47 coffee stirrers to clean the channels of the knives after spraying them with a cleaner/ lubricant. I find the process very relaxing and have 10:47 bought back some knives that looked like trash but I was able to save them. Thanks for your videos. The Old Army Scout…
Great stuff Tom! Looking forward to seeing some cleanup! Just wanted to let you know that I'm taking a little break from TH-cam for a while. I keep up with over a hundred channels with complete loyalty to their content and have been doing this for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, maintaining my support has completely wore me down. Not leaving, but my reply times will be much slower for a while. Appreciate you buddy! Keep up the great work!
Its understandable that you need a break. I have a difficult time watching all the other channels as there just isn't enough hours in the day. I appreciate all your support, and enjoy a little time away.
Great pieces for $10 out the door. Can’t wait to see them cleaned up. Wow, the fleet and farm store has a lot of knives. Tom are you casing the joint for later on? Just kidding, take care my friend and God bless.
I love a new knife as much as the next guy. But I buy more old ones like that just for the joy of bringing back to life, so dang satisfying!!
I'm the same way, Ronald. Its like making history come alive. Thanks for watching, my friend.
I wish we had farm and fleet here. Tractor Supply is getting to be a home store
They are really nice stores, but the closest one is two hours away. So, its a treat when we get to go to one. Thanks for watching, Jason.
The Farm Fleet store looks like a great place to shop. Thanks, Tom.
It's a nice one, Thrifty. Lot's of variety in their sporting goods section. Thanks for dropping by, my friend.
