  • A great day at Higher Jiu-Jitsu in Sydney, testing for a purple belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu, within the Pedro Sauer association.
Thanks to my coaches John Smallios and Phil Grapsas!

This is awesome. Super technical and on the spot. I'm using this as a study guide during my Blue --> Purple journey. Clean test!

Is there anyone that knows this system who could write out the techniques in order of the video?
Very long story, but I’ve been a blue belt for 8 years. Trained for 10 in total. The first 6 years I was on the mat for 6 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Coaching at an MMA gym under an affiliated black belt who ended up being someone I didn’t want to get promoted by (due to a lack of integrity on a personal level). The last 4 years I’ve been traveling the country and haven’t been in one gym long enough to get promoted to purple belt.
Now the place I’m at is a Pedro Sauer affiliate and has a list of techniques for the test… my only issue is matching the techniques to the names of the techniques.
That’s why I found this video- but some of the audio is difficult to hear.
So if there IS ANYONE that would be willing to write them out in order as they appear in this video is would be a gigantic help for me!!

Happy for you. But I know black belts that would sweep that entire room, but would fail this test. Not the best of ways.
