Bill, at @ 17:20 you tried to tighten the wrong bolt. You put the oil plug back in and hand tightened it and when you went to tighten it you put the wrench on the bolt to the left of where the oil plug was located. Confusing undercarriage, no markings to indicate what's what. They should have put a hole underneath the oil filter location to allow the oil from the filter removal to drip down to your collection pan.

Kubota are killer machines for the money. Keep in mind a JD mini ex of this size would probably cost 3 or 4 times as much, Kubota are great for homeowner use.

Hi Bill, the next time you do that oil change, take a plastic zip lock freezer bag and hold it over the oil filter, push it away from the top so you can hold a center punch or heavy nail to the end of the filter and make a hole in the end of the filter at the bottom and another at the top to let air in,pull the bag up around the filter and close what you can of the lock strip so it doesn't fall off. Let that drain while the pan is draining as well and when you come back remove the bag with the oil in it and then take off the filter and you will have hardly any oil spillage to clean up. This is what I do when I remove the filter from my pick up truck and it work well. Great video as all of your videos are !

Bill, The owner's manual says to change the oil filter every 500 hours not the oil. I guess they are saying to just change the oil and not the filter and to just change the filter every 500 hours or 1 year which is weird. I would do as you're doing and change the oil and filter. Also you didn't tighten the oil drain plug. You tightened the plug next to it that looks the same.

hey biller just watchin the svc on the mini x and when you fired him off his little engine was moving a bit and my concern is that top rad hose moving in that hold down device i see it wearing a hole in that hose in time go back and fire it up and watch that movement wouldnt want it to blow and spew hot coolant on your rear end take care and Godbless

Go back and tighten the oil plug, I think you tightened a frame bolt when you put the oil plug in.
I saw that too hope he goes back and checks it before it vibrates loss and dumps the oil.
