Hey from Wisconsin I go to Miami every year and Tampa been to the keys.. yeah The traffic is crazy sitting at those long stop lights is crazy one guy got out his car and started doin the cha Cha in traffic waiting for the stop light blew my mind.
Miami dade is pretty urban tbh compared to other cities outside of chicago and new york with many urban building and elevated heavy rail trains outside the downtown area and it’s only going to become more urban
I dont want to move to any of those apartments in South Dade but Miami in general just needs as many apartments and houses as they can build to keep the rents and prices as low as possible, its been unaffordable for 20 years and everyday it gets worse cause they have no room to build more new stuff.Look at Orlando, they probably build 30 apartment complexes for every 1 they build in Miami, the more there is of something the more likely it wont rent or sell and keep prices in check.
@ 10:43 at the stop light. Thats Carribean Blvd. I spent my whole early life in that area. During the time of Hurricane Andrew I lived blocks away on the south bound right turn, then in 1993, I lived on the otherside of US1 til Oct of 2000 when my family moved to NYC. And funny how that Bronx video you have is so near where I live now
Ah good ole' Naranja. You can never take the homeless and hood out of it. That town has stayed virtually the same for the last 30 years other than some new apartments. I actually like Naranja because it hasn't changed a whole lot. They still have the Air Force base there too. It reminds me of old South Dade.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGSI hope not. I used to live in Naranja before Hurricane Andrew (I was only 3 at the time). Let me say this the people in South Dade are some of the toughest and grittiest people you will ever meet. No bullshit.
My mom used to work at a Family center/day care for children that was in Harrs Field on Campbell Drive in Homestead. an't recognize it in this video since soo much new developement. That building where my mom worked no longer exist. I think the new apartments on US1 down in Homestead are for those wealthy workers that work in the city of Miami but wanna pay for cheaper rent since Homestead s cheaper than the city of Miami. They will suffer with the traffic
In the 70s and 80s there were far less people and traffic in South Dade. It was mostly farmland as a matter of fact. It blew up after Hurricane Andrew.

You guys rent & have quality of life. You won't have that in Miami.
Miami: 2% Downtown. 98% Low density sprawl
Are you talking about Miami Proper or Miami-Dade? Big Difference.

Yup.
@@imdumbaf3665As someone who used to live there... Not really. It's just full of sprawl and traffic. It's Downtown is a joke for a major city.
@@thedirtybubble9613 Naranja and Miami aren't the same
It's terrible considering schools are out. Traffic stinks in South FL & getting worse. The road rage shootings are also up.
SWFL has got bad with the road rage. Best thing to do is pull a sudden U Turn and change course.. don’t engage

Thats already happened in Manchester UK.

@38:37 is where my mom used to work on the left. That business no longer exists
It looked much different back in 1999-2000
YES!! CHILDREN NEED TO TAKE OF THEIR PARENTS.....
What will happen to the Immigration in Florida today?
