I had a patient that was born in 1910 when u was beginning nursing. She told me she remembered all about hearing the Titanic sank. It was awesome to hear first-hand. She was sharp as a tack!
Loved this. I saw this museum ~20 years ago as a kid. Recent events of the submersible missing had me thinking about this museum. A lot hasn’t changed (the promenade deck was very similar!) some is very different - the bottom of the floor tvs and the iceberg changed a lot. It used to be a whole block of ice instead of just spots. Thank you for taking us through! It’s just as great as I remembered.
What a tragic but memorable moment in our history, I remember when the movie first came out, really incredible and humbling. Thank you for sharing this experience with us all, it’s always fun learning new things and going in depth into subjects
Thank you for sharing this Mondo!! Such a magnificent ship and bittersweet piece of history 🤍🤍 SN: Mystery Bae you’re glowing!! Such a beautiful soul!! And Sonic is growing so fast!!! I love seeing you three (soon to be four) together
Next time your in Vegas u have to do the titanic experience at the Luxor or Mandalay Bay. U are actually a person that was on titanic and at the end u find out what happens to u. Really cool experience
Hi Mando, Happy Holiday's, thank you for sharing this experience 💖 I love everything that has to do with history, that was alway's my favorite subject in school. Lol, BTW: I love the Titanic movie. It alway's brings me to tears 🎬 “Jackie, I'm flying!” - Rose.
Amazing! I did this about 20 years ago when it was on tour. The iceburg was atually real ice, and huge! the same size that is actually was. Also you get a card in the beginning of the tour, and then at the end you find out if you lived or died. Really cool
I like it when Five Fires does this non-theme park exhibit tours. Hopefully we can see Mondo and the crew go to more of these attractions in the future.
I’ve always been in favor to bring artifacts up because that’s history. The bacteria that covers Titanic is actually deteriorating it’s structures. They have been watching it for years and eventually she will be gone 😢
The original movie stair case was actually destroyed during (the sinking) the filming of the movie. It’s captured on film in the behind the scenes features on DVD.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥… Awesome Vlog… it’s good sometimes to get a Vlog other than parks to spice up the 🔥!!! Not going to lie miss the once in a blue moon nature trail vlogs.
Titanic was all about class division, hubris and greed. They received multiple ice warnings, and thought their brittle, thin riveted iron hull was unsinkable. It cracked like an eggshell. Pride and hubris drive them to full speed into a field of icebergs. Ice is hard and sharp, and colliding at 21 knots created tremendous force. Titanic may have even partially grounded on an underwater shelf.
Thank you so much for showing that this exists in the Los Angeles area. It was really fascinating to see what life would have been like on the Titanic before its sinking. The Titanic’s sinking was a great tragedy, and I remember watching a documentary showing that some of the victims were not identified until fairly recently thanks to DNA. Again, if I have the time, I would love to go.
At the Field Museum in Chicago, in 2002, it cost $20 to park, $20 per person to enter the museum, and another $30 per person to enter the Titanic exhibit. For two, that's $20+$40+$60=$120. $120 to see some old dishes, glasses, wallets and stuff. You got to touch the 20-ton chunk of iron hull and the greenish discolored porthole glass. Was it worth $120? NO.
Working as a coal stoker in the belly of Titanic was a hell unfathomable. Those guys were paid 20 cents an hour to shovel coal into the furnaces. It was hot, dangerous and exhausting.
have you seen the Titanic movie?
More times than I can count Mondo!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes 10 thousand Time's Love the Movie
Was it worth it to go ?? And take my kids dont want to waste money if its boring for them
There’s a movie about it!?

Wow. That looks like a boring exhibit. So few artifacts from the Titanic in the display cases.
So lame, just saved myself the trip 😂😂😂.
