    What is more likely to happen, Civil War orWW3?

    • @DoverPipes
      @DoverPipes หลายเดือนก่อน

      Civil War. Based on how the next election goes, if the current regime loses, they will unleash their goons just as they did in 2016 and 2020. Riots will just "spontaneously" happen again and mysterious pallets of bricks will just happen to appear on the streets as they did before. People will have had enough and they will start fighting back and start to drop the agitators where they stand. That may possibly lead to the "Civil War". Needless to say, it is always advised to up your supplies and have your equipment ready in the event of any civil disorder. Stay Safe folks!

      WW3.
      So Called Citizens of this country were too oblivious to know what was going on with their own President, until they were shown.
      That goes to show me they are oblivious to all the rights they are losing.
      There are WAAY more people who are sheep in this Republic,than folks like us who know whats what,and watch your vids.

    There's enough liquid there to make that stick to your ribs a bit longer by adding a tbs or two of mashed potatoes or instant rice.
    In order to get used to eating more rice, we have started cooking up a big batch every weekend to have it on hand. That way we can use it to enhance any meal without the time spent to cook it each time. Plus, my wife will eat it just as a snack with maybe a little butter on it...

      I grew up eating rice cereal for breakfast.
      I had 3 brothers,so my mom used rice to stretch the budget.
      Put some milk in leftover rice in a saucepan and heat it up.
      My mom put a little salt and a little butter in it with a little cinnamon and sugar.
      It was very good and when I have leftover rice I make it for my wife and I.

      If you use instant rice it will store just as long as regular rice and take half as much water and take half as much fuel to cook. You can also get it in 20-60 lb bage by ordering from restaurant supply houses. I hope that helps.

    My wife has a sterno stove.
    I use my trangia burner in it to actually cook food.
    But the sterno fuel is good for heating soup or making coffee or cocoa.

      Same here, I use an alcohol stove in the Sterno sometimes too. Works a little quicker than the Sterno Fuel.

      The Vesta can hold three fuel cans at a time, but it is kinda expensive.
      A DIY set up with a cooling rack for a grate/grill would probably work for more than one fuel can at a time.

    Hi. Can anyone please tell me where to get the snuffer he spoke of. Thank you

  • @venetiakelley
    @venetiakelley หลายเดือนก่อน

    @Chef Prepper, What does a “snuffer” look like?

    • @ChefPrepper
      @ChefPrepper  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Anything (that won't catch on fire) that is flat and is bigger than the hole on the can and won't cause you to get your hand burned while using it.
      Just put the snuffer over the opening of the can and it will put the flame out in a second or so. Let the can cool, put the lid back on and its ready for your next meal.
      Hope that answers your question.

    How long have you stored your sterno cans? Years ago, I had bought a box of sterno cans and put in with my supplies. When I had checked them after a couple years, I found them all empty. They had rusted out from the inside in storage. I don't know if they're better now, or if this is a known issue with them in longer term storage.

    • @ChefPrepper
      @ChefPrepper  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello Jacollins,
      I don't know for sure how long I have had some of them. I haven't had any problems with them and I know some of them are 4 or 5 years old.
      Sterno type fuels are mostly one form of alcohol or another and should last nearly forever unless there is a problem with the can/container they are stored in.
      Most of my Sterno Fuels are actually a brand other than Sterno brand, but I haven't had any problems with any of them.
      I am not aware of that being a known problem with sterno fuels in general. Hopefully that was a rare occurrence that won't happen again.

    • @jacollins2010
      @jacollins2010 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ChefPrepper Thanks for the info. They were Sterno brand from a Smart and Final store way back when, and I was always leery about getting it again because of that rusting (I don't use Sterno in normal cooking, so it'd only be for SHTF and I don't want to need it and find it empty). I'll try again and see how it works out now.

  • @texasprepperprojects

    Now why would you use sterno instead of a $20 butane stove? It gets hotter, faster and lasts longer.

    • @ChefPrepper
      @ChefPrepper  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No pieces to break on the Sterno Stove that could lead to a gas leak or make the stove unusable. Sterno Fuel can be used without the stove and I want to have a backup to my Butane Stove.
      Just my thoughts on the two types of stoves.
      I do have a couple of Butane Stoves and I like them very well.

      Hello Kuuipojones,
      Canned foods can be stored indefinitely, nearly forever, if stored properly.

    @Chef Prepper, can you re-use those Sterno fuels??

    • @ChefPrepper
      @ChefPrepper  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hello Ventiakelley,
      Yeah you can use them several times until the can is empty. Depending on which brand and/or size of the can they will burn 2-6 hours.
      My experience is that the a can of fuel will last a little longer than what the can actually says, not a lot longer, but a little longer.
      If you have say a can that says it is a 2 hour burn time. You can use it several times for 15 minutes or so at a time. Just be sure to reclose the can properly.
      Hope this helps.
