You two, plus Sean, have been the biggest influences on my first novel in regards to craft and structure. I have had to shred my novel's form and add an entire 30% more new content because of the good advice provided in your podcasts. It is a much better book because of it. Please keep paving the road for us up and comers of the indie writing scene! You are doing good work with your fearlessness putting yourselves out there.
I don't use 'wattpad'. Sean's comments about not wanting amateur feedback seems valid. On the flip side, it is reader feedback. And readers know what they like. It seems then that there may be real benefit accrued from receiving a spectrum of reader feedback.
I agree. Readers are sophisticated. Even if they don't know how to articulate how to do something correctly, they know how to recognize something that works or something that doesnt.
Hi Joanna, I'm listenign several interviews you have done, I would like to ask you something if you have the time to see this post and answer: What is "Ozo Bots" of Amazon (Is it written right? :-/ Maybe "Auso Bots?") You often talk about them and say that they are important when Amazon apply them to your book because it becomes easy to find it at the bottom page as Amazon propose your book to potential reader
"also-bots" or "also-boughts" or "Customers who bought X also bought Y" Go to any page on Amazon, scroll down and you will see a load of other products that are linked in this way.
Joanna thanks a lot!!! You're a very nice angel!!! Just let you know that everybody talks well about you in any country even not English speaker, all of us know how you help really a lot and this is something that really shine up your life even more than any other success!!! Hugggggggggggs
All of the main services try to do this - the best way is to use double-opt-in, which requires confirmation after sign up. I use ConvertKit - you can find a tutorial here: www.thecreativepenn.com/setup-email-list/
I love Creative Penn interviews. BUT what is with the bleep on words like "bullshit?" We are not children. The loud beep just totally breaks the focus of what your knowledgable guest is saying. It also is critical of him and devalues the content of his presentation. It's a subconscious devaluing, but it's there. We are all grown ups and, if not, DON'T LISTEN. Very poor choice whoever talked you into this Joanna. Don't have guests you want to edit. Tim Grahl is worth listening to unedited. "Damn it!" [Opps! Bleep me.] I really like him. Dale E. Write what you want written, write it the way you want it to be read.

This video is very useful because I didn't really launch my first book,I just published it on Amazon. That was a mistake.
You can still do book marketing at any time. Launch is only the initial period, but book marketing goes on forever!
Oh my goodness, my eyes did something strange when reading the description and I read "free webinar" as "free winebar"!
Haha. :)
Just attended your webinar with Tim Grahl. It was fantastic. Thank you JFP!
where can I find that "beginner" podcast Tim? sounds like it would be a good listen.
