Another malayalee Transalp owner from Vietnam. I feel like it is a sporty yet adventure friendly bike from Honda. I hit max at 202 once. Insane power for me, took it out for some mud roads handled it like a piece of cake.
Things I plan to upgrade in the future
1. Tubeless spoked rims
2. rear suspension change
3. Front suspension spring change
4. Add quick shifter from Honda and cruise control form a 3rd party in Canada.
This is my bike to keep for another 10 years easily.

@@ChristoCJ03 Depends on the riding mode bro.. In sports mode it comes around 23 km/l. But in standard it may come upto 26 I think

Vstrom 800DE comes with fully adjustable suspension + up-down quick shifter as standard @13.14lkhs onroad in Bangalore. I think that is more value for money interms of features. Request you to compare both engines and share your feedback. Feature wise vstrom is the clear winner handsdown

Unfortunately no test rides are given for the 800 DE in South India. Also V Strom 800DE has been taken off from India website and not taking any bookings. Dont know whats going on.
I have tried both of then and ended up buying a transalp due to its lower seat height and weight. Vstrom’s suspension was much better, but Honda felt a bit more agile to me.
